1) Today mankind has a backwards view of how to get along.
Matt 7:12... all things ...you want men to do to you, you likewise do to them...
So we need to treat people the same way we want to be treated.
2) How to find happiness. Many people struggle to find happiness. The popular view is to find happiness we need many material things.
Eph 2:2&3.... you walked according to...the air of the spirit...doing the things of the flesh...
It is Satan's system, it is in the air all around us.
Acts 20:30... you must assist those that are weak....there is more happiness in giving then there is in receiving...
When the Solon Hall was built, there was a lot of hard work that was done just to get it ready. In that weekend it was built, there was 1000 people and it went so quick, we couldn't believe how so many gave of their time to build this beautiful home for Jehovah. Sharing in Hall builds, brings great happiness, Serving as pioneers, and going to school for married couples, and serving at Bethel. Jehovah wants us to be happy, the greatest happiness comes from giving in these ways than in pursuing material things.
3) Economic problems. The determination to be rich leaves us empty.
1 Tim 6:9&10... those determined to be rich fall into temptation...a snare...the love of money is the root of all sorts injurious things...stabbed themselves all over with many pains...
Credit cards... they certainly stab you all over with many pains. things come up and you use it, and then you have the pain of getting into that situation. (FLEE FROM CREDIT CARDS)
1 Tim 6:8... having sustenance and covering...we will be content with these things...
We need to keep things simple, just make due. Live within our means.
4) Allay anxiety. Everyone thinks they have a solution to anxiety. But there is a lot of harmful advise that leads to many more problems.
For example, the world says it is fine to get a divorce, but the Bible says Jehovah hates a divorcing. And to marry after a divorcing is adultery. this isn't a solution to anxiety, but only causes more
Phl 4: 6&7... do not be anxious over anything... let the peace of God excel all thought and mental powers....
Jehovah wants us to reach out to him in Prayers, he gave his son so that we could. Jehovah wants to comfort and support us as we roll our anxieties upon him.
Matt 6:31 & 32....never be anxious to say...what are we to eat and what are we to drink....your heavenly Father knows you need all these things....
The key to coping with anxieties today... applying Bible principles.
you ever put one good piece of meat between two rotten pieces and then later cook up the good one...no, it is rotten by being next to them.
Prov 13:20... he that is walking with the wise...will become wise...he that is walking with the stupid will fair badly.
Ps 19:7...the law of Jehovah is perfect, bringing back the soul.... the reminders...making the inexperienced one wise...

"Who Really Is the Faithful and Discreet Slave?"
Matt 24:45 "Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics?"

Who is the Faithful and Discreet slave? (i thought it was all anointed) A clearer understanding shows us that they are the anointed ones who work at headquarters and are involved in the distributing of the spiritual food.
Who are the domestics and when did Jesus appoint the faithful slave over them?
The domestics are not just the great crowd or just the anointed, they are ALL who are fed, because even the faithful slave needs to be fed. . It was in 1919 after Jesus and his Father came and inspected the temple/or spiritual arrangement for worship.
When will Christ appoint the faithful slave over all his belongings and what will they include?
There are two appointments Jesus makes. it is this second appointment , after he arrives and finds that the slave has been "doing so", that is faithfully dispensing spiritual food. So there is an interval between the two. It is a time when he comes to pronounce and execute judgment at the end of this system. Jesus arriving or coming takes place during the great tribulation.
His belongings are not just earthly things. the word "all" includes All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth... so it includes the Messianic Kingdom which has belonged to him since 1914.
