Pg 12    Make Jehovah's Reminders The Exultation of Your Heart.

Ps. 119:111  I have taken your reminders as a possession to time indefinite.

What reason do we have for exulting in Jehovah's reminders?
Jehovah's reminders give valuable insight, teaching us and helping us to avoid pitfalls.  We rejoice over the "the good  condition of the heart" that results from obeying God's reminders. 

How can we build trust in Jehovah?  Prayer, Meditation, Active share in the ministry all help us to draw closer to Jehovah.  But especially when we display "acts of faith", that is doing something we are not confident in but trusting Jehovah will help us, He is then able to bless our efforts and when we reflect on how he helped us, our trust then deeps.

Why is it important to keep busy in Kingdom activities?  No matter what our limitations or abilities are, if we are busy in Kingdom activities, Jehovah will bless us and it makes us rich spiritually.  Again, prayer, meditation and our share in the ministry helps deepen our trust and faith in his promises.

How True Christians Adorn Fine Teaching

Have you ever had an event (perhaps wedding) that you dressed in the very best clothes and beautify in a pleasing way.  

Ps. 104:1 & 2... you are very great with majesty and splendor...
Ecc 3:11...  you have made everything beautiful...

Ps 119.... His will
Luke 12:27 & 28... consider the ...lilies... not even Solomon in all his glory is like one of these...  

In God's eyes, not even Solomon was adorned like his creation.
In the spring with the flowers come out, we often stop to enjoy their beauty.  Or standing at the foot of a Sequoya tree.  Or viewing any other Jehovah's creations.  Even considering humans.  When Jehovah created the first pair, he put them in a garden.  

After man had sin, everything changed.
Gen 6:11 & 12... the earth had become ruined in the sight of God...
what ruined it?  the sin of mankind
Rev 11:18... God is going to bring to ruin, those ruining the earth...
Titus 2: 10...not stealing.. but showing trust... that they may adorn the teaching of our savior...

So our physical and spiritual adornment is shown to us in the scriptures.  How we act, how we live is all in the scriptures and it is so we can be pleasing to Jehovah's eyes.

Tit 2... moderate in habits, sound in mind... teachers in what is good... instruction for woman, young ones, single ones, married ones..
We can adorn divine teaching.  We do this by putting on the fruitage of the spirit.  Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faith, Mildness and Self control.

Our ministry also is part
2 Cor, 4:13... I exercise faith, therefore we speak...

when we put on the fruits of the spirit, it will adorn our ministry and then it will be attractive to those we teach.

Ps 133:1... how good and pleasant it is meet together...
So having a share in our cong meetings, also adorns us.   How vital it is that we have brother love.  Also our dress and grooming adorns us too.
Tit 2... be in subjection... 
So when it comes to our job, we need to show respect, hard work and honesty.  It isn't always easy to be respectful, but it is vital that we do as our conduct is a part of our spiritual adornment.
We want nothing that can be found fault in our work.  Or school.

Mal 3: 18:... you will see the distinction between a righteous person and a wicked person...
 Jehovah's people have earned respect at places of work and school for the respect and honesty that is lacking in the world.
2 Cor 7:1... let us cleans ourselves of every defilement ...
It is one of the identify marks of true Christianity, that we are spiritually clean.  
Our adornment should add to the Kingdom message we bear.  This would also include our car, our clothing, how we dress  and smell.  Not that we should be overly lavish, but in fine modest and dignified grooming.
We want to attract not distract from the message we bear.

Are we separate from what the world is?  Even the wealthy world, is hard to separate who is a hooker and who isn't. Certainly we wouldn't follow anywhere near that type.
2 Cor 2:15... a sweet smelling odor to Jehovah...

Tit 2:13... we await the happy hope... cleanse for himself a people for his good work...
Sometimes it is a lot of work, but it is worth it.

A professor said, the best prevention of AIDS, is to become one of Jehovah's Witnesses, as we have loyal strict sexual relations only with marriage mate, don't except blood transfusions and don't do drugs, and don't have homosexuality because of living by Bible guidelines.

Let us adorn ourselves with divine teaching.
