God's New World, Who Will Qualify To Enter.... Bro Joseph Kreashack
As Jehovah's people, we have a goal to make it to the goal to be in the new world. But we need to qualify, what do we need to be able to do?
First we have to accept we need a new world. When we listen to the radio or news, what do we hear. Positive things? No. Everything man has created to help people with, really have failed for various reason. Economic, religions, or human governments. Jehovah has allowed these people to try and provide the basic needs, but they have all failed.
Jehovah has given us everything we need so we can have confidence in the coming new world.
2 Pet 3:13... but there are a new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting... according to a promise...from Jehovah...
When Jehovah promises something, he can and will do what it takes to make that happen.
The new heavens has already been fulfilled. So we can have confidence that the new earth will soon be fulfilled as well.
How about considering the Messiah. With all he accomplished while he was on earth, it was to show us how he will have the ability to use his power in directing God's Kingdom.
a study showed, for one person to fulfill 8 prophecies, it would be one in one hundred million billion
if you took that many silver dollars, and laid them out flat, they would cover the whole state of Texas, 2 feet thick.
NOw, you mark one coin. then you have one man, being able to pick up only one coin, and pick up just that one coin that is marked... that is what it means.
And Jesus fulfilled 40. That should build our confidence in his abilities.
Qualities of Jesus our ruler,
Isa 11:2-4... the spirit of Jehovah will settled upon him... wisdom, understanding, mightiness, knowledge, he will not judge by what appears to the eyes or what he hears, but he will judge the lowly with fairness...
So understanding what Jesus will accomplish, what his qualities are, will help us to see how we qualify.
Granted we can fulfill prophecies like Jesus did, but we can develop his qualities.
First.. are we cooperating with Jehovah's org?
Matt 24:45-47... who really is the faithful and discrete slave...that the master has appointed over all his belongings...
their job is to give us the food at the proper time.
This is the ONLY channel that Jehovah uses to communicate with humans on earth.
So are we cooperating with them? We show we are when we have a full share in the Kingdom ministry to the best of our abilities.
When we attend meetings, assemblies, DC's... we listen and then apply what we learn that shows we are cooperating.
Second... we need to allow Jehovah to mold us an conform to his guidance.
Titus 2:11, 12... it trains us to reject ungodliness and worldly desires...
When we reject junk, we throw them out. we need to do the same with ungodly, selfish and materialistic ways.
There is no place for such attitudes in the new world. we need to be doing our best right now.
third... we need to act on what we are learning
astronauts when waiting for the rocket to take off, when the countdown gets to 2 minutes, there is no going back, it can't stop. so everything they have done at that point, is crucial.
when we reach the 2 minute mark at the end of this system, it isn't time to change our ways. we have had to already done that.
2 Peter 3:9... Jehovah is not slow concerning his promise... but he is patient with you...as he desires all to attain repentance...
Jehovah knows everything that has gone on in our own personal lives. He knows the struggles and the challenges we have had to deal with. He is patient with us so that we can "get our ducks in a row".
We think about different scriptures, different resurrection accounts, the verses that the wicked will be cut off, that we will experience the exquisite delight in the abundance of peace... it gives us hope in our goal to live in the new world.
Isa 65:.... I am creating a new heavens and a new earth...these former things will not come to mind...
Imagine, never having to think about all the things that have caused us pain. Never having to have our sufferings come to mind.
But we must act now so that we can be a part of that new world.

Trust in Jehovah with all your heart and do not lean upon your own understanding...Pro 3:5
What does it mean to use the spirit of a sound mind when we made decisions?
We need to calibrate our mind and heart by God's reliable standards and NOT just doing what we or others think are reasonable. Whenever we are faced with a decision, we need to turn to the Bible to see what God's view is on the matter and then base our decision on what we learn.
How can we cultivate the ability to make wise decision?
Think about whether or not our choice befits our role as a servant of Jehovah. Making the right choices in smaller matters will contribute to training our perceptive powers when it comes to making decisions in weightier matters.
What can help us to follow through on decisions we made?
Turning to Jehovah.
