Appreciating the Marvels of God's Creations.... Josh Picknell
From insects to birds, animals from the polar regions to the deep sea creatures. Everywhere on the planet there is some sort of life. How did life get here?
Some people feel that it doesn't matter how life got here because nothing matters. But we know how life came to be here directly effects our position here and now and in the future.
When we look at the stars at night, we marvel at the fastness. How did it all start? Science has found multi galaxies, as many as the blades of grass in a meadow . Ours alone has 2-4 billion stars. it is about 16, quadrillion miles. Our galaxy moves with mathematical precision.
So the superb orderliness of the universe shows it couldn't be random but it had to begin by a superb Organizer, a wonderful Creator.
We have supremely organizer in the laws that effect the universe
Isa 40:26...lift up your eyes to heaven to see who has created these things... he calls them all by name... because of his vast power... he calls them all by name...
Isa 42:5... the creator of the heavens and earth...
Jehovah is the creator, the Grand one.
Those who believe in the "big bang theory" that all that is organized by a explosion of chaos. It isn't logical that something can come into existence by itself.
Heb 3:4... every house is constructed by someone, but the one who constructed all things is God...
So why wouldn't our intricate earth not be created by God, the supreme organizer.
Jer 10:12... he is the maker of the earth by his power...
Jupiter is a massive protector of earth with it's gravity. The moon has a great effect on the earth's seasons. The atmosphere protects us from radiation from the sun. The water cycle is purified as it is evaporated and falls purified.
Ps 148:10... animals and winged birds...
think about the varity of the winged birds... so amazing... ostrich, is 8 feet tall, can't fly but can run 40 miles an hour.
Ps 148:7... sea creatures, deep waters...
the blue whale has the heart the size of a small car.
Ps 148:6... every living thing, praise Jah...
1 joh 4:8... who ever that does not love, has not come to know God, because God is love...
Jehovah is the personification of love.
Jehovah has given us the ability to see mulit colors, smell, the delight of taste in a wide variety of foods.
There is so much here for us to see and enjoy, but not only are they pleasing to see, but they also serve a practical purpose.
Prov 3:6... Jehovah gives wisdom...
we marvel at the skills people have, the wisdom people use to build things...that wisdom comes from Jehovah
Ps 139:14...marvel at the way we are made...
we are made up of a hundred trillion cells... of mind boggling complexity. The brain contains one hundred billion brain cells. it can contain all that is in man's libraries and still have room for much more.
How should it effect us?
1) it should remind us to cherish our life
2) It should move us to help others to learn about Jehovah
3) It should impel us to get to know our Creator more.
It is vital to help our children to develop awe and respect for Jehovah. His wisdom, love and power are evident all around us. The more we learn about him, the more we will love Him.

Rev 4:11 You are worthy, Jehovah, even our God to receive the glory...because you created all things.
What must we do if we are to overturn "strongly entrenched" false doctrines?
We need to identify teaching that obscure the truth about Jehovah. Then we must skillfully use the Bible to overturn any reasoning that are raised up against the knowledge of God.
How does creation reveal God's power and wisdom?
there are two shields that keep us safe. The earth's atmosphere and its magnetic field. the atmosphere provides us with air to breathe and shields us from the majority of the debris that hurtles through space. the magnetic field is a powerful magnetic field that envelops us and stretches far into space. it safeguards us from the radiation emanating from solar flares and explosions in in the outer regions of the sun so that energy does not scorch all life on the surface of our globe, but they are absorbed and deflected.
Many other creations to appreciate. The more we learn about his creation the more we appreciate His power and wisdom.
How can parents help their children build faith in Jehovah?
by using various publications that share Jehovah's wisdom in his creations with our children helping them to reason on the evidence we see around us that will deepen their appreciation and be able to share what they learn with others and defend their faith.
