As Christians We Care About Other People. .... Bro. Picknell
1 Joh 4:9 & 10... the love of God... he sent his only begotten son... as a propitiatory sacrifice...
& 11... if this is how God loved us, then we are under obligation to love one another...
Ways we can show loving care for others:
1) caring for our families.
today there is a lack of care. But as true Christians we need to show genuine care for our families.
Matt 7:12... all things..you want men to do to you, you also must do to them...
As this world continues to be uncaring, we need to conquer it
2) impartiality
watching tv we see nothing but "me-ism". But God isn't that way.
Acts 17:26... God made out of one man (Adam) all nations of men...
Is God partial?
Jonah... did not see Ninavah as God did...
Ninavah was impressive, it was a 3 day walk from one end to another. It was about 120,000 in that city. Despite their badness, Jehovah cared about them. He cares about people who can change.
Luke 10:25- ,.. A man, versed in the law... to test him...
3) Feelings for Others...
Eph 4:32... Become kind to one another...
5:1-... become imitators of God...
We wouldn't want to put one way of talking to others at the Kingdom Hall, but then change at home...
Under pressure at times, we can hurt individuals with how we respond and treat others. How about to our children, our friends,
Do we call them, are we "quick to listen". Sometimes we think, "what am I going to say", when really we need to be quick to listen
4) tending to extended family
1 Pet 5:8
1 Tim 5: 3-8... if any widow has children or grand children... let them pay back to them...
8... anyone who does not provide is worse than a person without faith...
even if it is our mother-in-law, we have a responsibility to our aged parents.
are we caring for our wife and children spiritually?
5) in the ministry
Mark 6: 34... he was moved with pity for them...they were as sheep without a Shepard.....
why? they had no hope and were confused...
We need to take our ministry personally. in order to help people, we must genuine care.
the ministry work is saving lives, so it is vital that we view it as precious.
It is essential that we genuinely care about other people, as Jehovah does.

Rom 12:11 Do not loiter at your business... Slave for Jehovah.
What is involved in the kind of slavery mentioned at Romans 12:11?
It is not like what the world images being cruelly dominated, oppressed or unjustly treated... but God's Word speaks of slavery as willing service to a loving Master. It is a sacred service prompted by love of God.
How can we avoid becoming enslaved to Satan and his world?
by taking into account the importance of satisfying their spiritual need. Matt 5:3 ...Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need. When we live for God's will, we can focus on our love for Jehovah's laws and we won't be enslaved to Satan.
What rewards does Jehovah offer his slaves?
God's will helps us slave for Jehovah. It puts the prospect of being set free from enslavement to corruption before us ans well as eventually gaining the glorious freedom of the children of God. We learn how best to show that we really love our heavenly Master Jehovah.
