Stand Still and See the Salvation of Jehovah.... bro Faggerstrom
The world is clearly a big mess.
Jesus' disciples asked Jesus when the end would come.
Rev 16:14... expressions inspired by demons...God's war
What are we going to be doing when that war hits? Do we fight? We are going to need to know what to do, because that war will effect the entire earth.
In wars today, we can either join in the fighting, or stand back and watch or get out of there.
But when God's war comes, there will be no where to go because it will affect the whole earth.
2 Chro 20:4& 5, verse 20....
there were 3 armies that banned together to fight against Jehovah's people
:3, 5.... Jehoshaphat prayed...
:14... Jehovah answered his prayer...pay attention... do not be afraid or terrified...the war is not yours but God's....you will not need to fight... take your position and stand still... Jehovah will be with you...see the salvation of Jehovah
so they didn't have to fight, but they did have to be obedient. They put the singers in front, and no one picked up a weapon. It had to be scary, but they did just as they were asked. As they started to sing praises, God had the enemies each other.
Jehovah is able to protect his people and defeat the enemies without his people having to fight.
Rev 17:14... these will battle with the Lamb...the lamb will conqueror them...
So we can see as Jehovah's people we will not have to fight. But there is something we have to do right now... we have to learn how to be obedient now. If we are told when Armageddon comes to be obedient, how are we going to do? Are we going to think, I have a family to take care of, a business to run, crops to tend to... see how easy it could be to do our own thing? So we MUST LEARN TO BE OBEDIENT NOW!!!!
Right now other religions are involved with injustices take place. Do we talk of our own opinions or do we say... "what does Jehovah think"
Heb 10:30 ....when injustice takes place, we need to leave it in the hands of Jehovah...vengeance is mine...
2 Pet 3:11-.... consider what sort of person you ought to be... in deeds of Godly devotion...
Do we worship God when we have time, or is our worship our first priority?
Some have speculated that the preaching work will end, and then it will be mass destruction.
But if you think about it, we are going to be always talking about Jehovah, always learning, always helping others... really, it will never end.
We need to really focus on just what our amount of effort is and make adjustments NOW to make sure it is in harmony with what Jehovah wants us to be doing.
If we let our trust in Jehovah wane, we will be in trouble if we doing keep it in check. Our confidence in Jehovah should never change or waver.
we are all effected by economic hardships
Hab 3:17... the fig tree may not blossom... no bulls in the pen... As for me, I will exhault in Jehovah...he is my strength...
How about our relationship with our fellow believers? Compare the cong with weightlifters... they spend all day every day totally focused on having the perfect body. They constantly look in the mirror in order to tweak and examine where they need to make adjustments. They are very serious about making improvement.
We all are making adjustments. We are spiritual weightlifters.
A spotter, encourages you to keep going, maybe even doing something to help you.
Do we encourage each other to help each other to be obedient and rush in to help when they are in need?
If a bar falls on a weight lifter and he can't get it off him. would he say, No, I'm fine, I don't need help? No, they ask for help and gladly accept help when someone offers.
Some have put off dedication and baptism feeling they aren't ready. We don't want to do that. If we need help to make that dedication, ask.
2 Cor 10:17.. see your deliverance...
do we make ourselves be obedient to Jehovah? Do we want to be obedient?
Ps 119: ....I hurry and I do not delay to keep your commandments...
He is begging us to be obedient. how are we doing in that regard? He wants each of us to survive. IF we do, he will bless us in the future.

Act In Harmony With Jesus' Loving Prayer
John 17:1 Father... glorify your son, that your son may glorify you
What is involved in truly "knowing" God?
To "know" God, means we have to get to know him and this is a ongoing process that in time results in the privilege of "knowing" God. So it is more than a mental grasp of God's qualities and purpose. It inclueds having a close bond of love with him and with fellow believers. 1 John 4:8 says, He that does not love, has not come to know God" So another point is having love for others, and then it also includes being obedient to God. So it is a precious relationship that can be lost and we have to work hard to maintain it.
How was Jesus prayer recorded in John chapter 17 answered in the first century?
There was potential for division because the various classes of people. Yet, all became so closely united that they could be likened to different parts of a human body with Jesus as the head.
How can we act in harmony with Jesus' prayer today?
By zealously obeying the command to preach and make disciples and also preserving our precious unity to the glory of Jehovah's name.
