I love baby goaties!!!

I feel so yucky today.  I can't even think.  I am in a lot of pain today....ALOT!

I woke up early, which I am glad about.  I headed right for my Bible reading and dove into my ministry for today.  I finished that up and have been listening to songs for worship.  it sure soothes my soul.  Even when i feel so rotten, it is like a soft warm cozy blanket on a cold yucky day.

Steph is gone to work.  Plus she is house/pet sitting for Dave & Carol.  So I won't be seeing much of her for 10 days...well, 8 now.  It was funny, when she house/pet sit for Hertzners, all of the animals would climb on top of her to sleep.  So I can't help but wonder how it will go for her at Harris'.  There was another lady that Steph works with that had her house/pet sit for her, and it was the same thing.  By the second night their dog was sleeping on top of her.  She sure has a way with animals.  I remember when she was about 10 or 11, we had these outdoor cats, that wouldn't get close to anyone, and she would patiently sit out there with hot dogs or tuna or something and she would keep doing that until they would come even when she didn't have food for them.

Colton leaves for work soon, tonight he starts working at the Golden Living nursing home.  (at least I think that is the name of it).  It will be interesting to see how that goes for him.  He enjoys what he is learning and I am sure he will continue to do well with his tests and classes.  I am sure when he gets his CNA, and has to apply for to be among the first to get into his other classes, his instructor will give him a reference.  College is interesting.  you don't just sign up for a class but you have to qualify and apply and have good grades and IDK a bunch of stuff.  It is politics to get the prime classes.  He understands what he has to do, but I am totally lost when he tries to explain it.   I am just glad he has an A or A- average so far.  It really understands what he is doing so far.  There aren't many in my family who are in the medical field.  I have one cousin who is a doctor, two more who are nurses and then my Grandma who was an RN, forever.  She still remembers pretty much everything too.  I can't remember what day it is.  It will be so amazing in the new system to retain what we learn.

Lauren & EO are both still sleeping.  They don't get to sleep in often, so when they can, I try to be extra quite for them.  Lauren will have a long day working at mom's today.  Monday is always longer because she hasn't been there all weekend, plus, she doesn't work on Tuesdays, so she has to prep things for the next day besides.  So Monday is long.  IDK what I would do without Lauren and her love and loyalty in helping not just me, but my mom.  EO too, but he doesn't do as much with her as Lauren.  It hurts Lauren to hear anything negative about my mom, even though my mom can be hard on Lauren sometimes.  But Lauren is like that about everyone.  She doesn't want anything to do with people who try and drag other people down, or belittle or make fun of, or snicker at.  It pains her to see people doing that to others, whether she knows them or not.  She is such a tender heart.

 Baby piggies!
