I got an email from my friend from CA last night and the news was just so exciting!!!  She and her family are doing well,
but she shared the info they just got.  So I am pasting a part of it here.

"In the LA and orange county area (where we are) there are 54 kingdom halls shared by 5 congs, 110 kingdom halls where 4 share. This causes a challenge with over crowding at the  memorial and during the co visit. There is a need for new congs but there is nowhere to meet. In addition, there are many kingdom halls that need to be updated.

What does this  mean?  72 kingdom halls needed now to help with over crowding and even more for future growth. The Society would like to have no more than 3 cong meet in a kingdom hall."

How awesome is that?  Jehovah is really speeding up the work!  I just had to share that.  As in our rural area, we just don't see the growth to that extent.  So hearing reports from more populated areas, is really exciting.

Lauren stayed with Carol last night and Carol slept pretty well.  She continues to have more trouble breathing, so not only is she on oxygen all the time but last night they gave her a humidifier with the oxygen as I know with my mom, she really gets dry when she is on oxygen every day.

Leon did better yesterday.  He was tired, but readjusting our prayers to better help him seems to be what he needs.  Plus I am sure the friends are praying for him to have the strength to endure as well.  I think this will help him have enough stamina to cope better so he doesn't feel so drained and miss any meetings.  And we were talking last night about going with the kids for an hour at random times for them all to get some time in service.  Really about the only time he has is in the mornings.  Although if Carol gets stable enough to be able to go back to the nursing home, then he and Deenie were going to alternate days of visiting so that way he could work and get in service some.  I think that is the hardest part of situation like this, you are so focused on the situation it is hard to get in service.  He would try to write a letter here and there, but we were counseled by the brothers about writing letters for the ministry is only being for the disabled or housebound ones.  So he is just going to have to try and go out for an hour here and there.  If he can find the time.  Like last night, his dad was feeling lonely and asked Leon to come over.  Leon has been doing some of the chores when he goes over.  The other day he picked the rest of what was in the garden for Bill.  Last night he did some other things around the place that Bill hasn't been able to get done.  Bill & Carol wanted the house painted, but I just don't know when Leon will have a chance to do that.  Bill isn't even thinking about that right now.  I wish we could do a flash mob and one day while Bill was gone, have the cong run over and paint the place before he got back home.  But it is hard to pull that off without knowing what color paint and what not.  So I don't know if that will get done before it gets to cold.  And I am sure Bill isn't even thinking about it right now anyways.

Everyone is gone at the moment.  Steph made me some lunch and now she is gone.  So I am just going to go rest as I am fighting a bit of a migraine.
