Lauren stayed with Carol last night.  Lauren was able to sleep some, but Carol couldn't get comfortable and couldn't get the pain under control.  She isn't handling morphine.  And she can't have Codeine, so they are having to figure out something she can handle.  The cancer is causing her serious problems.  It is going to take time to figure out just what is going to work to help her.

EO brought Bill home.  They sat and talked for awhile and then Bill told EO he could come home for the night.  But EO couldn't sleep.  I woke up after he got home and we talked for awhile.  It was about 5am when he nodded off.  I didn't want to wake up when I got up this morning, so I had Steph make me breakfast, since she doesn't have to go to work until noon.  I will be waking him up soon so he can pick Bill up to go back up to Duluth.  I am going with.

Things look bad right now, but we are trying to be hopeful for the sake of the family.  Carol is the glue that holds us all together.  It is excruciating to see her suffering, as she doesn't deserve what cancer is doing to her. I just pray that the whole family can hold it together so we can all share in comforting Carol.  This is a rough road, and are praying constantly to have the strength to endure.  There is no way we can get through this without Jehovah's help.  I am so very thankful we have Jehovah's help.
