Wonderful Wedding

I almost didn't go to the wedding. I was so wore out and feeling so cruddy, that I almost stayed home. But then, I asked Colton to come with us. I knew he would enjoy himself once he got there and he did. But to get him to go, I had to go too. So we all went and had a lot of laughs. It was pretty rough, I had to take an insane about of pain meds, and will need to amp them them again tonight. drugs drugs drugs drugs drugs... i would never make it without them.
The wedding talk was wonderful and everyone looked amazing. One sister (I don't know) said, she had never laughed at a wedding talk before. She said she loved that there was humor in the talk. EO said, Welcome to Solon. All of our meetings are like that. I'm still kind of baffled that she has never heard a wedding talk with humor in it.
The family who stayed with us were fabulous. We really enjoyed visiting with them. Their 6 year old twin boys were so funny. We sure had fun with them. Hope to see them again someday. Leon got up and made bacon, eggs, pancakes & Belgium waffles. Plus we had muffins and cinnamon rolls. We had supper ready for them when they got here yesterday. Hawaiian meatballs with rice & noodles. Plus a salad & french bread.
Lauren was able to see the doc about her ear being plugged. She has been fighting her ear ache for nearly 2 weeks and it just isn't getting better. The doc said it was red but ok, but they gave her meds anyways. With her only having a partial kidney we know her system could use all the help it can get so as not to hurt her kidney. I'm glad they are helping her. Not that Steph couldn't use some meds, but Steph just doesn't have the same physical battle.
Yesterday EO went and bought a new 4 slice toaster (which we needed) and a Belgium waffle maker. He has always wanted one. It is like the type we use at the various hotels we have been to. He got them for 60% off.
Milly had her surgery yesterday, and is doing well. So no baby kittens for us. We really don't want baby kittens with our new carpet. We won't have to worry about her if she goes outside at all. I would prefer her not being outside at all, but I just don't know if that is do-able with Latae. Latae loves to be able to go outside in the summer.
Our maps & tour books came for our trip to VA & TN. We didn't have a lot of time to look it over, but I ordered a Trip-tik, with the route from Solon to Wise to Bristol. It has both driving directions and maps. I look forward to going through the books and studying more info about the journey. Our Trip-Tik also came for our trip to CA. I look forward to checking that out too.
But first,,, I am so so so tired, I think I will go lay down for awhile.
