we lost it all, there is nothing left

I would love to see this place. It is Bora, Bora.EO came in with a sad look on his face, and said, every single piece of corn is gone out of the garden. All that work, and we don't get even a taste of it.
This has been a tough year. With EO's small wage increase, and all the kids working. We have lost all our benefits, and I lost a chunk of my social security benefits and now I have a premium to pay. So now, EO's increase replaces what I lost, but we have the same bills plus we have even more to pay for. The kids chip in so that helps, but I don't know what we are going to do when they all leave.
EO has worked so hard on that garden. We look forward to fresh produce that doesn't cost us a ton of money. We know that at anytime we can and will loose everything. It is hard when it isn't material junk, but just basic fresh food.
EO has made it a practice that, when he hunts, he helps others first to have what they need, then whatever is left is for the family. This includes when he hunts in MN. I am thankful he does this, as I couldn't live with, we have what we want but others have to go without. Deer has been scarce. We have been going without eating meat almost every day because we are trying to make what we have last.
I know many of the brothers have it far harder than we do. We have been told we are rich compared to most of the world. The last thing i want to do is worry about "what are we to eat what are we to drink". Jehovah has always provided for us, and that is why we always try to share what we have with those who really need it. But those who really need it depend on what we share, so I just hope they know Jehovah always will look out for them and he will provide in another way.
