So we made it to Neillsville, and we were surprised there weren't a lot of horses, only about 250.  We were so thankful George and Kelly were there.  We showed Kelly the ones we were interested in, and sadly, most of them had something really wrong with them... many of the horses there had something wrong and many we were interested in had something wrong with them.  But we found two really great horses.  The appaloosa is just 2 years old and already a great horse. Now she just needs some miles put on her and a little training.  The quarter horse is 8 years old, and a very calm and gentle lady.  Actually, both horses have "lady" in their registered name.  The quarter horse has an "H" branded on her back hip, I told Steph maybe we should call her Hannah.  Leon had gotten a good look at her, but when we went over to her, there were a bunch of people around her, and we thought there was no way we would get her, so we decided not to spend much time with her. OH, I don't know if we will call her Hannah or not, but we plan to give both of them different names from their registered names.

We really enjoyed being there.  We sat next to George and Kelly, and they would find flaws or problems, or if they couldn't find anything wrong, we knew they were a safe bet.  That really helped us so much.  They sure love and know horses.  It has been so many years since we have had them, I there is a lot I don't remember.  Maybe if I wasn't so sick, I would remember more.  Steph love all the horses and she helped me a lot, so EO could take care of stuff.

Since they didn't have a lot of horses there, the auction ended at 3pm.  which was when i was going to go check into a hotel.  but, since it was early, and I was so shot and couldn't even think or comprehend anymore, I didn't care we didn't stay.  The ride wasn't bad, because we stuck to the highway, instead of the rough back roads.

When we got to Eau Claire, it was 4:30, and we were all pretty hungry, so we stopped at Olive Garden, as it was right next to the highway.  Dinner was FABULOUS!  I had steak that had bread crumbs and spices on it, with mashed potatoes and asparagus,  every bit made me say MMMMMMMMM, oh and I had Zuppo soup and breadsticks too.  Steph had a steak with baked potatoes and peppers and the same Zuppo soup and breadsticks.  EO had shrimp on fedachini alfredo, he picked a cream soup, but I forget what kind.  We left there stuffed!

George and Kelly brought our horses to their place last night, and then today EO is picking them up from Ladysmith and bringing them home.  Then we will have about 2 hours before the sun sets so that we can show them their fence boarders.  So they will walk them around the fence.  Then we will keep them up in the front for a few days for them to adapt.  And maybe the end of the week we will open the back gate and show them the bigger field.  At some point too, we will show them Bill's field.  So we have lots of space for them to run and eat.
