I love how they hold hands when they dance!

It has been so nice out the past couple days, on the north side of the house there is hardly any snow left on the ground.  However on the south side, there is a lot yet.  But in another week or so it should be gone.  I just love spring!!!  However it is followed by summer, and none of us care much for the hot hot hot temps.  Oh well, what can you do?!

My hands are in SOOOOO much pain today.  It isn't just one hand but it is both.  Not fun!!!  Plus I woke up early with a terrible backache and a pounding headache.  I was in some odd position so I know what is why my back was killing me...it still is.

Colton has one last week of having to work Saturday nights.  He is going to be training someone in this week.  Then he won't miss meetings.  He doesn't know when DQ will open yet, but he doesn't care, he is just glad to be ending his job at the Inn.  He did remind them that it could be any day now that he will be done there.

Steph had to work today.  She HATES working Sundays and does everything she can to get out of it.  Sometimes she is able to find someone to cover her so she can at least get to the meeting, but she can't always do it.  She is going to be house sitting starting today until Wednesday.  Then she leaves Friday or Saturday and will be down at Livingstons for the week.  She is a busy one, always on the go!

Lauren brought Steph her lunch yesterday and bought us a couple of drinks from the Merk and then we laid in bed and watched TV.  That is always fun.  She has all kind of pillows and such a nice bed.  Plus her room is so pretty, it is such a nice place to veg.  

Today we are going to go to B&C's for lunch... well 3 of us are going.  I really don't know if I can handle it physically.  But isn't like I have to chop wood or anything.  ...chop wood... i have never been able to do that. with my aim... someone is bound to be maimed.     

Ok, so Steph often texts a bunch of her friends from the cities..... city people.  So one day I asked Steph to build a fire, and she told one of her friends "sorry for the delay, i had to go start a fire".   the response... "a fire? where did you do that?"  Steph replied, "in our wood stove.  for the most part we heat our house with wood."  the response..."really?  people still do that?".  hahahahahahahahahahahahaha  
another conversation had to do with being out in the woods.  one friend said, "I've been camping with my family."  Steph is like... "psh, camping.  we don't have to go camping, we just walk out the front door."   And it is most likely they were camping at a campground, in a trailer... like that is camping. hahahahahahahaha.   I would go camping with my brother, uncle and cousins.... there were 6 of us, on the first lake we could use a motor on the canoe, while towing the other canoe behind us.  Then we had to stash the motor and portage all our gear and the canoes about 2 miles, then we had to paddle for an hour, then we had to portage another 2 miles, by this point we saw EVERY sort of animal, most of which you had to be extremely careful to avoid and not tick off.  The we set up the tents and had to get busy catching fish so we would have food to eat.  We also looked for berries and whatever else we could find that was edible.  HOWEVER I never did eat any bugs or worms.  That was camping!
So I get a chuckle out of these city kids...Steph does too.  She has yet to reveal she can gut, skin and process a deer.  I can't wait to hear the reaction she gets when she shares that!
