I am holding Joshua Peterson here.  I always use to hold him like this... until he got to big.  He was always content when I did.  My mom and Colleen Peterson drove a huge RV that my mom had rented to Phoenix and back with Colleen's 4 kids and my brother and I.  That whole trip I just marveled that they took on this challenge.  I thought they were so brave and kind of crazy.  It was a very memorable trip.  It was why I wanted to take EO and our kids out to see the Grand Canyon and Mesa Verde.  It was after my dad died, and that may have had something to do with why the trip meant so much to me.

AT LAST!!  it is warmer now.  in fact it is almost like a heat wave.  It is about 30 degrees out, which made it too warm for me.  OK, not too warm, but it is just funny to try and readjust to the warmer temps.

Yesterday was pretty uneventful for me.  I just didn't feel good enough to do anything.  EO & Lauren were gone most of the day.  Then before they got back, Steph left to go hang out with their friends.  Colton was going to go, but he just isn't well enough yet.  Actually, he is up and has some energy today.  Although he isn't really doing all that great.  But his fever broke and he has some energy.  It is funny, where anyone else would still be in bed, you just can't nail his feet to the floor unless he is running a fever.  Hope he doesn't over due it today.

Lauren woke up all out of sorts.  She could hardly talk and so Colton took her to work.  She didn't want to be driving when she was so out of it.  Hope she gets her energy back.

So I am chalking it up to the weather.  Steph too can't get up.  My head is splitting something awful.  I even considered not getting up this morning for my morning worship.  But that thought fleeted from me really quick.  The next thing I knew I was at the dinning table.  It always adds peace to my morning no matter how awful my pain is.  I have an abundance of pain today!

AS for Mom... the endoscopy showed because of her spinal disease in her upper back, that is shrinking her down, she has a big S in her esophagus, which is why food isn't going down right.  I am guessing that the same thing is happening to her wind pipe so maybe that is why she is having trouble breathing too.  Anyway, the doc said there isn't anything they can do about it.  And that she needs to stretch up as high as she can while she eats and stay that way for about 3 hours... yeah, wonder how that is going to work.  Plus, in one spot she has a narrowing in her esophagus, so he put a balloon in there to stretch it out.  We at least we know what is going on, even if they can't fix it.
