Warm

This winter has just been crazy warm. For so many years, the last week of December and the first week of January are the coldest times of the year. But instead, they were not cold. Although we did get a cold snap, it didn't last long. We also have not gotten any snow to speak of yet. Well, we would have some, but the warm temps have melted it. I just find it all amazing.
We have been wanting to have a snowman party for a long time, but we just haven't gotten enough serious snow to be able to do that. If we get dumped on in the coming months we are going to throw a short notice snowman building party.
Yesterday, I cleaned up the little room. We tend to just toss stuff in there. So I got it all arranged, because the elliptical was buried in boxes, since I want to start working out on it in February. And I found a nicer box for the toy box, as the old box was really getting bad. I think I need to look for a few new toys to put in there this summer when we go to some garage sales. We used to have so fun toys in there, but after awhile they just broke or pieces got lost. The family thought I was crazy to keep a toy box, but I told them, you need it for the little kids that come. Then when little kids did come over, they understood. Lauren kept her polly pockets for the older kids to play with and they are a hit with the girls.
