Friday July 1st, was the strangest weather all day. It was super still outside, not a single breeze all day.  On top of that, it was very hot and very humid.  As evening approached Leon went outside and called me to come. I can't even describe how wild the clouds were.  We checked the weather and it didn't look good.  We packed a few things and headed for Bill & Carol's.  We also grabbed Latae. Staelens were already there. Not longer after I went down stairs with Steph & Latae.  I got a Tornado warning on my cel and called up to everyone to come down.  Bill & Jim said they could see a tornado starting.  Not too long after we were down stairs the wind picked up and it got wild sounding outside.

An F2 went through, It did a lot of damage to the west side of the property.  Just a hundred yards from the house.  The house wasn't touched but it did flatten the grass by the apple trees, it striped one of the apple trees.  It destroyed over a hundred trees on our property. 

As for the rest of our block,... there was some serious damage. One neighbor lost his house and was injured.  Another house was knocked off the foundation.   Friends from Minong & Gordon also had damage.

We were without power for 26 hours.  In fact, at first we couldn't even get home as the road was blocked from both ends due to downed trees and power lines.

Scary Scary Scary!

Planning, cleaning, organizing and packing has begun.  We leave the day after tomorrow. I can hardly wait.  It is always so encouraging and always what we need.  Then there are all the bonuses like being there with family and seeing friends.  Not having to cook haha.

So I have the list out for all the help I need with cleaning.
