too much pain

I have so much pain today, i can hardly stand it. first is my hips.... it is nearly impossible to walk, they are so bad, that they are what woke me up this morning. Along with my low back, it seems my muscles in my back are flared up as well. Next is my belly. It hurts to even touch it. Followed by my upper back, only cause i haven't been to the chiropractor in over a year. i really need to go in soon!! i should set up an apt really soon so i can go in before convention. Now i wonder if i actually will go in?
so yeah, i am super sick from all the pain.
Plus, Steph has made a little bit of progress. it is easier for her to walk to the bathroom and back to bed. the first couple days, it was murder for her to endure those 20 steps there and 20 steps back. She still struggles to get to the kitchen (when she needs a new ice pack in the middle of the night.) EO & I have been trying to take care of her and bring her whatever she needs. we figure the less she is up, the quicker she will heal up from whatever is going on with her back. she has never been this bad. she has all day today and tomorrow, so we will see what Tuesday brings, if she is going to be able to go to work or not.
So EO went yesterday afternoon to go and help the cong to work on cleaning up the barn that caved in at Dan & Kim's. I guess there was a nice group there as it wasn't real long and he was back home again. Then he was busy making dinner for us invalids.
Yesterday, EO hooked up the A/C in our room. It has been so hot the past couple days, it is crazy. I guess someone said it was 90 in Duluth yesterday. That is nuts!! It is like someone flipped a switch and turned on summer. My problem is, I can't drink enough, and every time I sweat, it is just aggravating my digestive tract. Which is partly why i have so much pain today over my belly. it is lousy being sick.
Steph asked me yesterday, how do i do it, it is driving her crazy being laid up for a few days. i told her i keep myself distracted. later on i asked her if there was anything i could get her. she said, she didn't want me to help her as I am the one who is sick and needs help. i told her, ...i'm not going to get better, but she is, so as long as it is something i can do to help her, I want to do it. I can't cook a meal, but i can heat left overs, or bring her an ice pack or some water or something. or even talk to her via text message. if she feels good enough, she might come in my room and lay where it is nice and cool. although she can handle the heat better than i can.
my pain pills are making me tired. ok, more tired. so i think i will snooze a little bit.
