So I've been working on doing more letter writing.  I really want to increase my service time.  So I have been reaching my goals and I am happy about that.  I also have been working on my personal study and that is improving, slowly but some is better than non. 

Although today, I've been feeling poorly, I did manage to run down to DQ to help Steph just a bit.  Not making food, while it was quiet, she was over hauling the flower pots and the flower bed.  She had the pots by the drive threw window done and they looked so good!  But she wanted my advise about the one flower bed.  It was in HORRIBLE condition.  So I gave her some suggestions and I talked to Tom about getting some potting soil and new mulch, so he is going to bring some down.  Then I gave Steph just a little bit of a hand with digging up a few plants that were growing outside of the flower bed, and she transplanted them back into the bed.  It looks so nice already.  But I know once the dirt and mulch is put in, it will look fabulous and the flowers will take off.  The poor flowers right now are only in sand.  But it really looks wonderful now. 

So what else?  Oh, I did a ton of research shopping on line for a long enough curtain rod and curtains to hang up over Colton's area.  Once we don't need them anymore, we will put the new curtains up over the patio door and in the living room.  Then we will toss out those blinds that I can't get cleaned and our living room curtains are just so worn out, it will be nice to have such pretty curtains.  I told EO it would be nice to just pay a little more and get pretty ones, that are also insulated. 

So tomorrow we are going to put my chair from the bedroom into the living room, and put the living room chair in the bed room.  I seldom sit in my room anymore.  It really has been nice being out with the family.  Granted, the family isn't home that much, but when they are, I enjoy being near by and seeing how everyone is doing. 

So the girls met up with Colton yesterday and both girls got new phones.  They seem to be happy with them.  Then they went out to dinner and to a movie together.  Oh, and did some shopping too.  It was nice to hear the 3 of them having fun together.  They are sure growing up. 

We had a visitor over the weekend.  Vanessa was down visiting her sister, and she stopped in.  That was sure fun to see her.  It has been awhile since she was last over.  Granted, there are people who live much closer, and it has been longer than that since they visited too. So I guess that isn't a big deal.  But it was still nice to see her.  Just wish Steph didn't have to work the whole weekend, she didn't get to spend much time with her.   Oh well, maybe Steph can visit with her at the D.C. a bit.

Speaking of... can't wait until the D.C.  It is coming so quick!
