taxes are done

Happy day, our taxes are done!
i woke up with a massive headache but got through our morning worship. EO still joins me and I love that. But as soon as we were done, that was it, I had to take a horse pill and I went right back to bed and slept until noon. When I woke up, I still had such a bad headache, i never even got up as I just couldn't handle the bright lights...
Then tonight, EO wanted to work on our taxes but didn't know how to open the program.... he thought he had access it through the browser and didn't understand it was a program on the computer. dear sweet hubby, so he is electronically impaired, there is plenty he can do that most guys can't.
So he asked me to just get it started for him. and then i could go back to bed.
so i got it started and when to get up, and he said, well can you just type the W-2's out since you type faster... really??? which means, i had to sit there for the next 5 hours and do the whole thing with him. i did have to stop and take a horse pill. then we were pretty much at the end, and I had to lay down for 30 minutes, it was just enough to take the edge off, so I could finish it up.
I thank Jehovah we are done!!!! and there is just enough for the convention. we might need just a tad bit more just to be safe, as EO was not real sure how much we would need for gas money to Milwaukee. We would have loved to have more, but now that the kids are all working and what not, they are all doing their own taxes. we said, we guess we need to adopt a bunch of kids for the refund. lol... yeah, that won't happen. But we do miss babies. we also make more than we have ever made in our lives. Yet we are still broke. however, when we made less, our electric bill was lower, mortgage was lower and so on.
Jason keeps making progress. EO wasn't able to stop and see Oakleys or Carol, as my mom has been sick the past couple days and really crabby besides. EO didn't want to make her sit and wait for him. He felt it was better to just get her back home and tucked into bed as fast as possible.
Colton made supper tonight... ham dinner with a pineapple glaze... FABULOUS.. can't wait for a late night snack.
