a new day

Very wise.EO & Lauren have left to go in service. There was only Abbie & Kim going out so they went their own way. So EO & Lauren decided they are going to take calls and I think territory going north and just make their way up town to see Carol and drop those hoods off and do a few other things.
Yesterday was such a rough day. However, I did manage to do my morning worship plus a little bit extra in order to make up missing a day from being sick on Tuesday. Today I was able to enjoy my morning worship despite having a massive headache.
We bought some liquid hand soap... it has milk and honey in it. It smells FABULOUS!!! the scent stays on your hands such a long time. I think it is making my hands softer too. BUTTTTTTTT... when I go to pump the dispenser, it looks like a big ol' glob of snot. It looks so nasty! Really nasty!! So I mentioned it to Steph and she proceeded to try it... she was revolted because she said it looked like a huge gob of snot. I can't even look at my hands anymore when I put it in my hand. It is thick and yellowish in color. But it makes my hands smell so good!!! life is funny sometimes.
I have been trying to reach out to others. but... if only to get my mind off of everything. For me, I find it helps to hear what others are going through and praying for their sufferings. But people aren't spilling their guts, as ... well, I can understand. When talking with someone who is going through all that we are, the last thing you want to do is dump your stuff on them. Plus I do understand as well, just like I want to hear what they are going through so I can pray for them, the same is true for them. And frankly, we need and deeply appreciate all the prayers.
My new calendar came. For the past several years I get a purse calendar from Madzay. It has a page between each month with grids for recording daily service activity, including books, broch, rvs and so on. Then in the back there are pages to write down when the assemblies and CO visit is/are. As well as a page to total the full service year activity, and if your a pioneer it helps you keep track of your hours. Oh, and it also has the Ministry School schedule in it. So many wonderful aspects. The best part... NO HOLIDAYS! I also have a address book that fits it. I just transfer it each year. Although mine is starting to get a bit tattered, maybe next year i will order a new calendar. oh, and in front it says in case of emergency see Durable Power of Attorney in Wallet and then there is space to put the names and numbers. I also keep a photo copy of my DPA in my calendar. Ok, well I love getting my new pocket calendar. I have used them since I was 15 or 16. I always look forward to getting a new one each year and writing in all my info it in. Kind of silly, but I'm ok with that. I still have pretty much all of them as all the important stuff gets written in them.
Well, Colton cooked a couple of brats up for me, and now he is gone to go run a few errands. Tomorrow he goes in for his test. I do hope hope hope he gets it.
My headache is getting worse. it is a "something is physically stressing out my body" headache. Which means I need to go lay down and take some meds.
