It is so bright and sunny out on this Sunday morning.  We all woke up early this morning.  I woke up about 6am and couldn't fall back to sleep, it was really annoying.  I have a headache that doesn't want to let up, but it is just so nice outside, I wish I could go out and play in the snow.  I can't of coarse but I sill would like to.

I am so brain dead today... I can't seem to focus on anything.

Yesterday Michael made us a dish that he says is Cuban, and they eat it all the time.  It was yummy.  Rice, black beans, peppers, onions, a basil tomato sauce, hamburger, and a bunch of seasonings.  I think it would be really good in a soft shell, but then that would make it more spanish then cuban.  Meryl & Keeley also made it down for lunch and then the group went off to hang out with some friends, as Michael knows quite a lot of people up here.  They are all again today seeing some other friends as well.  

Michael did say he enjoyed being in service here, that it is very peaceful and calm.  In his territory, they have thugs of every kind and it is very dangerous going in the ministry.  I can imagine.  I guess having some "do not calls" is nothing compared to what the brothers and sisters face in his cong. 

Leon did take him out on the lake after service.  Michael was thrilled to be actually drive on the ice.  Something most of the people he knows have never done.  We have really enjoyed getting to know him.  He leaves on Wednesday.  He couldn't get any more days off because of work and school.

I did something kind of different yesterday.  I was helping Lauren with her highlights and I put a little on my bangs.  I thought why not?  I could cover a few of the grays.  

I just can't get my brain to focus today, my headache is getting worse.
