Still working on it

So I am still working on pictures, but I think I am starting to make some head way.... sort of. There is just so many of them. :-O
I am just starting to feel not so overwhelmingly exhausted now, just mildly exhausted, so that is improvement. I will take what I can get. At least I have several more days before the assembly.
My nail polish is still staying on, I am hoping that it will stay on through the assembly. My plan is to keep my hands out of dish soap and other cleaners, so maybe it will last. I feel silly that I'm concerned as I have never been concerned before about such vanity, but I did spend a lot of money on it, so I want to get as much for my buck as I can. ... now that sounds like me. haha
Leon is looking better than he did even a few days ago. He was so sick while we were gone, my grandma said he looked like death warmed over. But then, if he was bad enough to take himself to the ER, he must have been bad. He said he was just grey in color. I'm so glad he went in when he did. I just feel so bad that he missed all that time we were gone, that he was going to use to get wood cut, and do some fishing, and he didn't get to do anything. Today he actually had some energy to get some work done outside. That is amazing, all he has been able to do since we got home is sleep. Poor B.
Steph did some shopping after work yesterday. She decided it is time to start putting things together for her "hope chest", Although it is not the type of "hope chest" as someone who is planning to get married anytime soon, it is more the kind that Lauren started working on a couple years ago. Colton had even started one of sorts, not much, but a few things that he knew would be harder to buy once out on his own. I guess with Steph turning 18 and just growing up, she wants to be more prepared for life. She knows she doesn't want to stay home forever. I told her it was a fine idea. I had a couple of foot lockers of things I collected over a period of time as well. I told the kids, when you make a decision to move out, it is really hard to have to go buy everything all at once. But if you can pick up items every so often, it really takes a big chunk out of having to "make due" with paper plates. She hasn't been interested before now, but she is ready now. Plus she found out she gets such a good discount at the Mercantile, in most cases it is more than buying junk at Walmart. ... Not everything at Walmart is junk, they have plenty of quality, but if you look for the cheapest thing, there tends to be far less quality in it. So that is fun to do with her.
It is hard to see our babies grow up, but then, we have spent their whole lives in preparing them to be ready for being capable adults. So what is the point of all the work you put into them, if it isn't to let them go when they are ready. I look forward to them starting their own lives. They are all doing that now. I will miss the babies, but I'm excited for what is to come.
