Spoiler Alert

I was so horribly sick yesterday. I ended up sleeping a few hours during the day. I didn't get to spend much time with Lauren. However she did share her notes with me from the C.O. & D.O. visit in Superior, since they were the hosts for the upcoming assembly.
Here is the Spoiler Alert. There was one point that just made our hearts sink and really examine how we could do better. It was brought out that we need to be very alert, because as soon as the governments/U.N. announce it is time to shut religions down... from that point on, it will be too late to get your act together. If your not doing what you know you should be doing, the door will be shut and there are no exceptions. So basically for those who have "issues" they are working on, it is time to let those issues go and just get back on track now. those "issues" don't mean anything in the grand scheme of things.
It makes me think... what pregnant woman who goes into labor doesn't go to the hospital when her contracts are 5-8 minutes apart. Is she going to say... wait, I want to do some laundry and vacuum the house and go shopping? No, there is no more time, she has leave that stuff behind. It really isn't as important as her getting to the hospital and giving birth to that baby.
So whatever we might think is important to us now, it is just not being reasonable. We need to be focused on just one thing, Jehovah!
It was also brought out that, we need to be praying more, about every little thing. the more we pray, the more we see Jehovah's way of thinking, the more we see how He is helping us and the closer we will become to him. And when things start getting even tougher, we will already see how he is helping us.
He may not be removing our loads or trials but he will reduce them so they are not so overwhelming to us. There are those who are saying, "when this ordeal is over with...then I will start getting busy spiritually". But Satan knows that is the plan so it is easy for him to throw on us more and more and more and more so we never get to where we need to be. The last days are not going to get any easier. But if we put Jehovah first, pray regularly/frequently Jehovah will help us to not only accomplish our spiritual goals, but calm us by making our "issues" not seem so big.
It just makes so much sense to do what he has been saying all along, and that is to put spiritual things first and he will help us with the rest.
There were other really great points she told us, but at the moment, I can't think of them.
So we still have half a tank of fuel, and if we don't use it up, the gas company will charge us rental on the tank we have. Well... EO said he wouldn't burn any more wood this winter and we would just use the furnace. So as of a few days ago, that is what we have been doing BUUUUUUUUUT... my allergies hate the furnace. Every time it kicks on, I sneeze. Well now, my allergies are so badly flared up, that I am in sheer agony. The whole right side of my face is killing me, as my sinuses are so swollen, from my teeth, to my ear to my forehead and chin... my current allergy meds are just not able to keep up with with the furnace. Plus with all the sneezing, I am now getting nose bleeds.... i NEVER get nose bleeds! I sure didn't want to be sick like this for the Memorial tonight. I wish I would have asked him to keep burning until after the assembly, then I wouldn't have this to deal with on top of everything else. Oh well, I hope I don't have a nose bleed during the Memorial tonight... i think i will pray about it. at least Jehovah will know how I feel about it if nothing else. As for the Assembly this weekend? If I am still this sick, I am not sure I will be able to make it to both days.
