Steph is with my cousins' daughters, Ciera Anderson and EmmaLeah Johnson.

The poor Hertzners and Harris... they have lost so many dear loved ones lately.  The stress sure can't be helping with the health issues they are dealing with.  I just hurt for them.  But then there are so many who are suffering in this wicked system.  Jesus never said the end would be easy.  At least we have the God of all comfort ready to sooth our pains as we try to endure.

I find myself not wanting to turn off the Songs for Worship, it just helps me get through my mornings when my pain levels tend to be so high.  I have been trying different things, like reading various books, cross stitch, watching TV... it still doesn't sooth the same as the Songs for Worship.  I guess it is the music in me.

Steph has the day off... a whole day off...ok, i think she has to close the DQ tonight.  She has just been running herself ragged.  She is so shot all the time.  She had plans with Lynnzee, but that changed because of her uncle passing.  So Steph is just going to get some rest today.  Lay around, watch movies and play with Harris' pets.

Monday, Colton got his first resident/patient.  Then Tuesday they gave him 3 more, so that was keeping him busy.  I asked if they gave anyone else that many res/pat, and he said one other, who is a nurse already... (i will explain that in a sec).  Then yesterday, he lost one.  He had checked on the resident (don't know what all he did for her) and then 30 mins later she had passed away.  So he was sad about that.  I feel for him, cause I know that is going to be hard for him.  But I am sure he will find comfort that they maybe resurrected soon.
as for the "nurse already"... each state requires a certain number of hours of training in order to be able to become a CNA.  Well, Minnesota doesn't require as many hours as Wisconsin does.  So if a nurse from MN wants to work in WI, they have to take more training regardless of how many years they have been a nurse.  WI has one of the highest (but not thee highest) hours required.  So once he completes his training, he can go just about anywhere to work, he just has to contact the state nursing/medical association and pay for the state license.  (there might be a test to take as well, I can't remember).

EO has been up and busy working all morning.  With the new scrap metal place here in Solon, he has a couple of loads of scrap to bring there.  He has brought one, and i think he is still planning to bring the second one, but he has other work he has to do for the apts still and he has to run to town and and and and and...

My stomach still hasn't settled down completely.  Now it is just annoying, not overwhelming.  Plus, I woke up too early, and I tried to go back to sleep, but it just didn't happen, so I figured I might as well get up and start the day.  And i have babbled on here long enough, I should go try and see what Lauren's plans are for today.
