This is just breathtaking.  It is Blyde River Canyon, South Africa.
 
 i looked out the window this morning and saw... snow on the ground.  so i checked the weather map, and it said there is a 30% chance of snow today.  Well that was at 9am and it is now 1:30pm, and it hasn't let up, in fact it has gotten heavier.  Some have griped about it, but I love it.  It is just so peaceful when it snows.  For the past week, it has rained and snowed.  Neither of them I mind, but I don't like solid overcast.  I think that is the only thing I don't like.  it can even hail and I don't mind, i just don't like when it is grey and blah out.  

EO is busy cleaning up deer.  he actually has been running all day getting all sorts of things done.  Maybe later he will be able to sit down and watch one of the races I recorded for him while he was gone.  

I am trying to help with the laundry today.  He did most of his laundry while he was gone.  I figured he would have brought it home to do, but he didn't want to make me have a ton of stinky clothes to deal with.  Just another reason he is such a keeper.

So the topic I vented about yesterday, i actually talked him him about last night and I didn't get the reply I was expecting.  He completely agreed with me.  He used the same reasoning I did, that everyone is so busy with their own issues they have forgotten to look out for others.  As well as, people are so sick all the time, they don't even notice others aren't around, or they aren't even at the hall in the first place.  He said it is really clean that the love has cooled off. I feel so bad for him that he is feeling it too.  He said the same thing, we just have to not give up on people, and maybe one day they will reach out again.  I actually thought he was going to be harsh with me about it when it was the opposite, he is hurting too.  Now that I think about it, he hasn't been "friends" with anyone in our hall in years.  Not the kind of friends that get together regularly or even occasionally, or even infrequently.. or ever.  He has to go to other halls to see his friends.  something is really wrong with that.  but again, you can't make people change and you can't be pushy either.
