Steph had some kind of stomach bug yesterday.  She had lots of pain and couldn't eat, and what she did eat, she couldn't keep down.  Whatever the bug was, I was fighting it as well last night.  Sheer agony.  It also triggered a nasty flare up.  I ran a higher fever and then the swelling began.

It took all my strength to listen to the meeting last night. I missed a few things, as I was running to the bathroom a lot. But I did hear the announcement about meeting for field service at 10am on Thursdays.  That is so awesome.  Plus the reminder of being patient (formally known as "long-suffering") for the new Bibles.  I know that in the past I would have been more impatient about waiting for more, but... now, I am just happy to have one copy to use.  But... there is a copy on the web site and I have it downloaded onto my phone and the nook... Colton and Steph also have phones that can have it downloaded, so it is easy to have multi copies if one has devices.  I look forward to when it comes out in pocket size, as I will be sure to order one for each of us to put into our emergency evacuation bags.  We have one along with a book or two of our choice in each of our bags.  (the smaller books, nothing big).  Which reminds me, I need to buy some supplies one of these days so we can update the food, water, and meds we have packed.

EO is working at home today.  Well, at the moment, he went to go pick up the chickens... I don't remember how many there are all together...maybe 10?  Anyways, EO wanted 2 more and then Jonathan will come and pick up the other 8 chickens tonight.  So we will have 6 laying hens.  Hope they get along with the four we have.  They are such sweet gals, and I know that is because of them being raised and cared for by my aunt.  So after he brings them home, he is going to try and finish the carport today.

I asked him when he got home how Carol was doing, but he just sighed said she was really really tired.  That is all he said.  I didn't push him, as the way he sighed...his heart aches seeing her suffering so badly.  I haven't asked, but I do hope she is still getting a lot of visitors.  She has had to make a home there, but it isn't really home.  It has been 52 days since the last time she saw her home and 57 days since this all began.  We are closing in on 2 full months.

It is the same for Dianne.  She keeps making progress.  She got her dialysis port removed today. So happy for her.  It sounds like they are getting her prepared to come home.  I do hope it will be soon.  I know it must be so encouraging to see "a light at the end of the tunnel".  I am just guessing, once she gets home she will do so much better.

EO is back, so I want to go see the chickens.
