I thought this was funny, so I had to take a pic.

So Steph got home from work yesterday, and she has really needed to get a new pair of glasses and get a few clothing items for the trip.  So I figured we better get it done ASAP, so we went up.  She ended up getting a pair of glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses and both look fabulous on her.  I think her glasses make her eye look bigger.  She has gotten rectangle type frames for years which really block her eyes, these ones are rounded and you can see her gorgeous eyes now.  Her prescription sunglasses are so so so so so fabulous!!!  They are like the perfect size for her, very glamorous.  She wanted to get her glasses so she would have time to adjust to the new prescription, cause it always takes her about a week to stop being super dizzy.  She was so concerned about having to drive with her old pair, so now she is set.  The sunglasses were a perfect idea with all the walking she does and time she spends outside.  I'm so glad she has them.  She got them at lens crafters so she had them right away and didn't have to wait 2-3 weeks.

She also picked up a swim suit and some clothes she needed.  I was able to get a couple items I needed too.  So I am so glad that is all done.  We did have fun and we laughed a lot.  We were in a dressing room, and I don't remember just what we were talking about, but we were laughing and just being "us", and there were 2 other ladies in there and I could hear them giggling at times.  In fact, one lady said, we clearly have too much fun together.  We are cheap entertainment.  We really do have a lot of fun.  She gets me laughing so hard my abs hurt, and I can hardly breath.  So I say that is a good thing.

Still have the headache, it just doesn't want to go away.  I thought today I might try some caffeine and see if that helps.  It is the only thing I haven't tried.  Being caffeine and artificial sweeteners are really hard on me, I do my best to stay away from it.  I have had more doctors tell me to stay away from them with my kidney and dehydration problems, I figure they can't all be wrong.  Then that WT or was it an Awake article on Caffeine being likened to a drug... with so many illegal drugs, they give you a buzz, effect your moods, you go through withdrawals when you haven't had a fix.  Caffeine does the same thing.  People do shots, double shots, for the caffeine.  I just decided unless I absolutely have to,  I will stay away from it.   So if I have soda, I normally will go for root beer, being there is no artificial sweetener or caffeine in it.

The only thing I am actually worried about on this trip, is when I run a high fever.  When we went to Bristol, the night we got there, I ran a lower fever.  2 nights later, when we were half way home, I ran a much higher temp.  I knew it was going to be bad that day, cause I was so drained.  I could tell it was about to start, so EO got us pulled into a hotel as quick as we could, and I went straight to bed.  We were going to go out for sea food that night, but I was just in such rough shape, that he just ordered a pizza in.  I felt bad for that, cause I know he was looking forward to the seafood dinner.  But I am so thankful he took care of me and tucked me in.  So I know I will have at least a couple times when my fevers will be much higher.  The only thing is, I can't really know when they will strike.

This stupid  rash on my chest, still hasn't gone away.  I have tried a number of things now, and I am still stuck with it.  If it isn't gone by Monday, I will call my doctor.
