sheets

Lily Beach, Maldives. I would love to be here on a day like this.It is just coming down in sheets right now. 2 days of constant rain, it is just crazy. But it could be worse, it could be snow. Actually, I think I would prefer the snow, but that is just me. For the sake of everyone else and for the animals, it is better that it is rain.
Lauren has been at Stacy's, and then tonight she will stay with mom to help her get up and around after her second eye surgery today. Then Lauren will be back home tomorrow. And the running will pretty much be over with for some.
Just not for EO, as he leaves for hunting season in MN on Nov 2nd. Then when he gets his tags filled, he will be back for a short time (maybe a week or less) and WI season starts. Boy do we need the meat! We are down to our last couple of packages. We have been trying to be sparing with our meat consumption, as we are pretty much out. So I will be praying ALOT for Jehovah to provide for us some food. EO always says I could ask for a big buck with a nice pair of antlers. But I tell him, Jehovah says sustenance and covering and you can't eat antlers. EO doesn't hold out for the big one as he knows he is out there to feed the family.
Oh, last night my stomach was a mess. Bad flare up, but this time, ... yuck. Normally a little ginger ale will do the trick, but this time it was ginger ale, mint tea and a shot glass of wine. The wine helped the most. I had all my other meds to take, so I have to wait one more hour before I can take extra meds for my digestive flare up. It is so awful!
Colton was gone last night, as he went down to the cities with some friends. Steph got home from work, last night about 7:30. She had to work later, as she had to lock up the store last night. Her first time doing it solo. Well, not exactly solo, they normally have one guy there, so as to be safe. But she had all the duties of locking the safe and setting the security system and that sort of thing. She was pretty nervous when she first found out she had to do that, but then she got the training for it, and it was a piece of cake.
So anyways, it wasn't 1/2 hour after she got home, that she received a call that they needed her to work the night audit shift at the Inn. AUGH... so she had a few hours to rest and then went to work for another 8 hours. She wouldn't have done it if she would have had to work this morning. So I'm guessing I won't see her up and around until tonight sometime.
I'm excited for the Assembly. It is so close now.
