Eli is tying his shoe!

Last night EO was on the computer, so he was sitting just inches from the patio door, when we heard a thunk.  I asked what it was, and EO goes and looks outside and it was a great big bear, up against the glass.  He had knocked down our bird feeder.  EO said it must have been about 3 feet high standing on all fours, so if he would have been standing on his hind legs that would have put him between 5-7 feet tall.  SCARY!  EO jumped and hollered, we came running, but by then the bear was startled and ran off the deck, so the rest of us didn't see it.  But the glass is kind of grungy and gross.  I managed to fix the feeder for the most part and refill it today.  But it is pretty broke.  If the bear tries again, that will finished off the feeder for sure.

I have a lot of acid reflux I have been dealing with lately.  I tried everything that normally works and it just wouldn't take the edge off.  So I had Lauren run me down to get some ice milk... DQ ice cream.  It doesn't get me sick like regular ice cream.  Anyway, it did take the edge off.  Colton talked to the owner (Bonnie) yesterday about his ideas for drumming up business and she loved them all and gave him approval to run with his ideas.  Today's pic is one of them.  Funny thing about it is, when he would dance, bounce or wave excitedly, people would smile, honk and several turned around and came back to get some ice cream.  In fact a group of ladies had me take their picture with Colton.  One little girl begged her mom to go back and she did, then she gave Colton a hug.  It was so cute!!  She couldn't have been 2 years old.  It was just fun to see.

So I'm not feeling great, but I am happy I made my time, and I am even a little ahead on my time for June.  haha, i was able to put a little more time in this morning than I had thought i would.
