it was another late morning. i just couldn't wake up for anything this morning. It isn't like I've been so busy. But then my thyroid still isn't right. They are having to up my dose again as the last increase wasn't enough. I know until I do get on the right dose, I will continue to be sleeping a lot.
EO is gone, he is off to go see his mom and then he will get some groceries too. So after morning worship, he headed out while I finished up my letter writing. His mood was good. Yesterday afternoon it stopped raining for awhile, so her ran out there and got started on some work he has needed to get done. He worked until he ran out of gas. Not sure why he didn't go buy more...didn't think to ask. Maybe he thought it was a good time to stop.
moving right along... we have these 2 great big rolling garbage cans that we have used for storage for so many years. Anyways, Colton had a lot of his stuff packed in them after he moved back. Well, he brought them back the other day, and yesterday, I actually managed to fill one of them up with Steph's stuff. They are really nice for odd shaped items and stuff you don't want broken. I wanted to get them both filled, but I think she should use one for her clothes. It would be a lot easier to move her clothes in them, then bags or boxes. The best part is, that the stuff can be heavy, and since they roll, you don't have to lift them. Almost like having a dolly... a confined dolly. So today I want to move a shelf that is in there and maybe put a few things on it. If I can just do a little bit each day, I am happy. But i know that won't always be the case.
I woke up this morning with a sinus headache. Never fun. Little by little I am getting better with my sinus flare up, but it is very slow going. It is rather annoying but, it could always be worse, I could be making no progress at all.. now that would be awful.
We made our reservation for our over night get-away. We are going to wait until after payday. In fact, we are going to go the Sunday night after our anniversary. Being Sunday cost less than Friday & Saturday rates. We also decided we wouldn't wait too long after our anniversary, before the seasonal rates go up as well. For Duluth area, they go up the last week of May. So that is one good thing about our getting married when we did, as it is still considered "winter rates". Although, so many times we have wanted to go tour different things, on our anniversary, but various tourist attractions don't open yet, which is why we have often had to go south to find something to go do for our anniversary. Oh well, it will be nice to have a beautiful view that we can enjoy from the Jacuzzi, as well as a fire place to view too. The picture window is fabulous, and we are really hoping we will have a clear night where we can sit and turn out the lights and just enjoy the lights of the city. Fog would be disappointing, well, fog and if a ship crashed into our hotel... that would be disappointing. Oh I didn't say where we are staying... well... it is a brand new hotel. South Pier Inn. We are just going to put forth all our efforts to totally relax and try not to think about anything but just being together. I have a feeling I will want to go back to this hotel ALOT!!
