Steph got a Gyros from the stand in downtown Solon today, I think she loves it!!!

Day one of aux pioneering.  I am on my own as it didn't work out for anyone else to join me.  But I should rephrase that... I am not on my own, as Jehovah is always helping me to do what I can.  I will be leaning even harder than ever this year as I am sure going to need the help.  The family will help where they can.

Steph forgot to request the time off for the Circuit Assembly, and she was scheduled to work her one Sunday a month the weekend of the CA... she also works every Saturday.  She was really worried about what to do.  I told her to pray about it and start asking those who can work the coffee shop if they can trade.  She came back and said, there wasn't enough  people who could do it.  I said, so pray about it and start asking people.  She did and sure enough the last person she thought would help her, was willing to help.  Jehovah can even make stone hearted people soft.

I got out of the house today.  I needed a few things at the dollar store.  So after I did my Bible reading and put an hour in the ministry, and balanced my checkbook (which I only write in it a few times a year) we headed out and ran to the DG then to the Merk Perk for a drink, plus I picked up a drink for Mom.  then we went to mom's and visited for just a minute. I forgot she had company on Fridays, otherwise I would have stayed longer.  We went back to the bank for mom and that is when we picked up the Gyro for Steph.  Steph asked for it as she got off work at 1pm.  And now I am back home, I just had lunch and i am really pooped out and am ready for a siesta, although I still can't take naps as it messes up my sleep too much.

I didn't realize until today just how awesome my new slippers are.... ok, they aren't "new".  But I found them when I was cleaning out the closet, they are like booties, where they cover the whole foot and ankle.  Well, I took them off to put my shoes on and as I stepped on the floor I about cried at how cold and painful the floor was.  I wear my slippers all day long...with socks, and my feet haven't been in pain.  I am so glad I found them and so I don't have to spend any money on new ones, cause they look new.  I think I got them from my mom, but I'm not sure, I can't remember.  Well, I am thankful for them!
