Memorial

The memorial is at 3pm today up at the Superior Kingdom Hall. The luncheon will be at the Superior Town Hall which is just a few miles south of the Kingdom Hall.
EO and I are picking up Bill at 12:45. When we get to town we will grab a sandwich and then go right to the Kingdom Hall. We are bringing my lawn chair with for me to use at the town hall. I know I will need it.
Steph is driving separately, she will pick up Lauren at 1:30, then get the flowers from Engwalls and then come to the Kingdom Hall. We are all trying to get there by 2pm.
I can't express enough what a HUGE HUGE HUGE help it is to have someone in charge of the food and luncheon and arrangements. EO has had so much load to carry all these months, and he still has a great deal he is doing every day, it is such a huge relief for him to not have to handle that as well. He can just go and focus on getting through the day.
So I am up and dressed. I stayed in bed as long as I could, but really my hips are still killing me from them locking up on me when I went to get my hair cut. Really? i neglect my hair because of how hard it is on me to go get a hair cut, but... to suffer this bad.. just for a stupid hair cut. granted i seriously needed one as my hair was whoa...and I mean WHOA!!!! The woman who had to cut it was even a bit shocked. just too many colors going on. This is the happiest I have ever been with a color job though. There isn't any ugly orange, or white or whatever. i need to take a pic one of these days and post it.
I think EO & I will feel better to just get today over with. then we can just focus on getting through the convention. i know EO will really be happy to get that behind us too. We have too much mending to do.
speaking of mending, i have a mess of it to do. wow... "a mess" yeah, EO has a John Wayne movie on. well, I started to tackle it yesterday. EO got a couple of suits from Mike S, I need to drop the hem on them. It will be easy enough being the pants for both suits have cuffs on them. I might be able to just drop the cuffs and not have to do anything more that that... well iron but, I hope it will be that easy. One of the pants needs the waist taken out just a bit. That shouldn't take real long either. But I know I won't even be able to look at that until Monday. He said he would like one of the suits for the convention. I'm just glad i don't have to do anything with the jackets. I don't like altering the jackets.
well, I better go finish a few things up before we have to leave.
