queezy

so queezy today. the pain in my hip was so bad yesterday i had to take extra pain meds last night as i just couldn't stand it. then i ended up sleeping til almost noon. i couldn't believe it when i woke up, but realized it had to have been the pain meds that knocked me out so long. yesterday was rough.
today is pain and a sick stomach. it really hurts to walk today. granted i don't have far to go, but still, it is a real challenge.
EO didn't end up going up town. A sister from Superior brought Lauren some 7up yesterday. EO just had too much going on, plus I was so sick, and he didn't sleep well. That he figured it best to stay home so he could tend to Steph & I.
Steph is making improvements, but they are small right now. at least she isn't coughing as much and she can get food down better. She still has to eat soft food but the first couple days she couldn't get any food down.
Lauren managed with her pills, so she kept her food down. Her ears are really red and swollen still (as of last night) she is going to try to see the doc today if she can. poor girl... poor girls. they just really have had a terrible month with being sick. oh, plus Steph's back. June wasn't pleasant for them. July hasn't been either. I can't help but wonder how much some of this illness is stress related. We have had an over abundance of stress this past month or so.
Well, Steph is going to go to work tomorrow. I told her she should go to work. Partly for them to see how sick she is and that she isn't faking just to get a holiday weekend off. (even though we don't celebrate it). But she is worried with how sick she has been and then having time off for the convention and then being sick so many times, she can't really afford to miss more work. but she wants to show she does value her job. I said it is better to go, and then have them send her home because she is sick, then to call for another day off. It just stinks that the job is so far away. Wish it could be here in Solon. but Solon would never pay like Duluth does. oh well, maybe someday a decent job will open up around her for her.
