headache
September 7, 2014
still dealing with a headache. i was so queezy this morning, i had to get EO up for help. i hate to pester him when i know how tired he is. yesterday he just looked so rough. he was going to go in service, but he was just so out of it. i was actually worried about him, as i am just not used to him being sick. he slept on and off the whole day, although at one point he did go check on his dad for a short time. but then he came back home and went back to bed.
Today he is doing better. So whatever bug or whatever he was dealing with, he seemed to get over for the most part. I wish i could do the same thing. i get so tired of being sick. living from moment to moment, and always needing to be near either the bed or a bathroom. even walking out onto the deck is a chore. all i manage to do is morning worship and then i am shot for the rest of the day.... ok, i am shot before i do morning worship, but if that is all i can accomplish, i will take it.
EO has been pushing me to order some curtains for the patio door. He also wanted me to get an extra panel to make a valance for above the sink and the window on the entry door in the living room. That took me several days to do. to get my head around that, was just such a challenge. actually he brought it up a month ago, i think he though it would give me something to do while i was laid up so bad. but... it took me a couple weeks to think about it even before i started looking.
He wanted the same ones as we have in the living room, but JCP no longer carries the color. We have had them for a couple of years, so it is understandable. I didn't want to risk ordering others, in the chance the shade would be off and it would look stupid. So we came up with another plan.
I am guessing in a week or two the curtains will be here and we can get rid of those terrible blinds in the dinning room. I used to clean them all the time, but it just got to hard the sicker i got. now they lower part is so full of cat hair, they look awful!!!!!!!!! It will be so nice to get rid of them.
We will do ...ok, EO will do some switching around of the curtains and valances in the sunroom too. He has it all figured out. In fact he pretty much came up with the whole idea of how to arrange things. which is a good thing since i am a total blank all the time. But yeah, he even came up with how we will put the curtains up. well... i did make one adjustment so that it would be more evenly balanced, but what he called a "hairbrain idea" was really a good one. Hope it all works out in the end.
