EO is all packed and ready to go.  After the branch meeting, he will be heading up to Kelsey for the week for hunting season.  

He told me he was concerned about leaving me and i told him not to be, because Steph will be here until Monday and then Lauren will come and stay until Thursday.  Steph will then be home on Saturday, so that only leaves me on my own for a day and a half.  I told him I can manage that easy enough.  

So I told him not to rush and to enjoy his vacation.  He really needs it.  It has been such a tough year for him.  He has been feeling... alone?  abandoned?  not sure... just feels like he is carrying a huge load, but i try to help him feel like he isn't alone, but... i know it is partly grief and mourning.  I just try to assure him, it will get better in time.

As for me... well, i am just praying that he will feel some relief after his trip and that will help me feel better.  I had to go to town yesterday.  I had to have some lab work done and EO had a doc apt. It was too long a day for me and I suffered last night and today as well.  i wanted to be able to help EO pack, but just couldn't, so I helped by reminding him of stuff he needed to pack.  

it will be quiet around here this week.  i'm going to miss the big guy.
