I know it has been ages since I've been on here.  There have been so many changes and more changes yet to come.  Lauren is mostly moved down now.  Next Wednesday she will be bringing her bed and the last of her clothes down. Much of her items are moved into Bill's place.  But what doesn't fit is currently in our living room.  Her bed will be here as she is going to be using a twin bed over at Bill's.  That will give her more space in her room there.

She did get her certificate.  She had an interview yesterday at a Walgreens in West Duluth;  She has also put in applications in a number of other places too.  So hopefully, Jehovah will get her a job really soon.

As of the 15th, Mom will be moving in with her younger sister.  She has to be a resident of Minnesota for a certain number of days before she can be approved to go into a nursing home.  Once she has reached her number of days living with her sister, then she will be able to get into a place.  My grandma says as soon as ma goes into a nursing home, she will go into one with her. amazing that at 97 years of age, Gram is in better health than ma is.  She would most likely stay living on her own for ever, cause i know the only reason for her to be going into a nursing home is so she can be there for her daughter. She is so amazing!!!  As it is, Ma ... is doing bad.  Real bad. So it is time for her to get the health care that she needs.

Steph already has a job waiting for her at a Panera in Tacoma, WA.  Colton is contacting a nursing home there that he wants to get started at.  Then once they are settled, Colton plans to take a dental hygienist class and Steph plans at some point to take classes as she wants to be a preschool/kindergarden teacher.  They are both really looking forward to meeting their new congregation and getting busy with the friends.  Steph's first thing she wants is to adopt some grandparents, so she is hoping there are lots of elderly friends in the cong they are moving too.

The biggest problem Steph is running into right now, is the lack of funds.  She is broke just trying to get ready to move, she doesn't have a dime for the move.  She has had a number of bills for her car getting it ready, including buying a trailer hitch.  They needed to buy a trailer too, but one was given to them as a gift.  EO and I have been scraping together our pennies to try and help them with gas money for the trip.  But, she is still coming up short. So we are praying they will have the money they need for their move.  Saddest part, is every place wants a $300 pet deposit for her to bring Latae out.  She can't afford it right now. She is just crushed.  But she is hoping that someday she will have enough money and be able to send for Latae.

We are having a going away party for them.  Mostly it is more just a picnic/dinner. They plan to play kickball and have a bon fire, maybe flashlight tag for any who stay later.  That will be on the 29th and then they will be leaving on the 30th.
Llyods have moved now.  EmmaLeah's grad party is the weekend before the kid's party.  We were going to have their party on the 23rd, but found out Emma's party was then, so we went with the day before they leave. I am hoping there will be lots of support and prayers for the kids as they move. I am praying that Jehovah will help them feel welcomed in their new cong so they can focus on spiritual growth.  That is their goals anyways.

I hooked up to the streaming for the convention... what a wonderful convention.  It was recorded ...opps, forgot which Bethel branch it was at.  I can't think of it at the moment. But it was so encouraging.  I was sad when it was over.  I can't get enough.  The drama video of Jesus.... I WANT MORE!!!!!!  It was so awesome, I would love for it to cover his whole life.  Steph said the same thing, that and that she wanted more accounts in the Bible of his life.  I totally agree.  Who knows, maybe when new scrolls are opened in the new system there will be more revealing about his life on earth.  Having the whole convention based on Jesus... Steph said it really helped her focus more on seeing things the way he saw them and that it helps her to understand even better as to how Jehovah thinks.  It was awesome!
