Our Anniversary

Wow, it has been 23 years now that we have been married. It all went by so fast. We had a really nice dinner with the family last night at J&D's. Stacy made us a card, and B&C gave us a card as well. Even Colton made it down to have dinner with the family. We had bbq ribs which were so yummy. We shared a few stories about the trip and some pics as well. It was very nice. Now today we will open our cards... EO & I will get a card for each other at random times and put them on the cupboard. Sometimes it will be 3 or 4 months that they will sit there. We are not allowed to open them until May 13th. This year, I mailed a card from CA to EO. But wrote on it "don't open". It is a fun way we tease each other.
Today, I am super super sick. I have pain in my shoulders and really bad pain in my neck. EO isn't feeling well either. He stayed home today from the meeting cause he isn't feeling well, in fact he has to be really bad before he will stay home. Steph too isn't feeling well, she is home. Lauren was the only one feeling decent. Bill was sick last night too, really having a tough night. And Deenie was just getting back on her feet. I don't know what is going around, but something has knocked us all on our bum. Yeah, I am not doing good, I am so tempted to go to the hospital. When I am actually thinking about maybe going... I'm in bad shape. Steph took one look at me this morning and said I look really bad.
My stomach was really bad yesterday. I almost didn't go, but I appreciated all the effort everyone was putting forth to be there, so I had to try. But I was horribly uncomfortable. I tried to push it out of my mind and focus on everyone there, but that was really hard to do too.
I'm going to try and listen to the meeting on the phone. I hope I can make it through the whole meeting. BTW, this ice pack isn't helping the pain in my neck, I will have to see if some Advil will help. It is just a sharp throbbing pain. Hope something works for it. I don't like being sick on our anniversary. Maybe we can just snuggle and watch the race from last night. At least we are sick together.
Good news.... Colton gained 2 lbs. He is keeping food down and is frequently hungry. He is making some headway with his doc, and I am starting to breath a little easier. I do hope he can continue to make progress! I'm glad he is exercising regularly, that will help many things. I'm not sure if he got below 180, I forgot to ask.
