WaHoo!!  the day has arrived!!  Our 25th wedding anniversary!!  

Yesterday turned out to be such a lovely day.  Well, up in Superior it was horrible windy, cold and raining.  But when we went into Red Lobster, it was warm and our kids were sitting at a table with balloons and smiles and hugs for us.


Lunch was fabulous and the kids had also brought a cake with chocolate drizzled strawberries on them.


 so so so yummy.

now today, after our morning worship, we opened each other's cards and we chatted a bit. Now, EO has been busy cutting wood and is now at the apts doing some work.  I have been busy with phone calls and fighting a migraine.  We don't really have anything planned for today.  As we have the meeting tonight.  So yesterday was more of a special day.  And we do have our anniversary weekend coming up too.  

All in all, it may not have been what i had thought it would be, but it was sure amazing!!  we still make each other laugh and just enjoy being together as much as we did when we first got married.

We did get to stop and visit with Carol and with my mom too for a bit yesterday.  When we got home, both the girls were on the floor putting a new desk/table together for us.  Between the lunch, cake and other gifts they gave us at the restaurant, they had yet another one for us.  It is very pretty... i should take a picture...well, my phone is charging at the moment, so I will wait on that.  but our dinning table is cleared off now and I love that!!!!  My goal is to not let the computer and what not clutter up the living room but to keep it clean and organized.  I told EO that it would thrill me if he took care of the bills at the desk, instead of having them where they are currently.  He seemed to think that was do-able.  We need to de-clutter the hutch and we will have the house looking so much better.

I love throwing stuff out.  It might be a lot of work, but I love how clean these spaces are becoming.
