Yesterday was mom's estate sale.  Holy Smokes!  Last week we were going through our own stuff to put in the sale.  Then this week, we cleaned up everything and priced all we were bringing.  Friday, I managed to go with Leon & Steph to work on setting up tables, and putting everything out.  Steph only worked part of the morning, because she had to work at DQ.  Lauren wasn't feeling well so she came later in the afternoon.  I stayed all day, which I was glad, cause Gram & Marianna came down too.  Bettyrae was there, and she stayed 2 nights so she could help.  Colton and Jed both came Friday along with Joey, they helped hauling and hauling, and setting up tables,  The guys had a blast setting up Ann's screen tent, as right off the bat, when they opened the bag they were covered in baby powder.  It seems, if you sprinkle baby powder on each layer of folded tent cloth it will absorb any moisture so that the tent won't mildew.  It was stinkin funny seeing them get covered in baby powder.

We all got a little sunburned too on Friday.  We were working so hard we never thought about sunblock.

Somehow I made it back for the sale day, I didn't do much, helped people a bit in the morning, mostly i was too tired, and just stayed on mom's couch to rest until it was over.  The day of the sale, people came early .. at 8 instead of 8:30, but there were too many to chase away, so we let them. Plus, one gal who stopped on Friday, actually helped us for 2 hours, hauling and setting up.  (Gina) That was really nice. so we didn't want to make her wait anyway.  From 8 until noon, it was insane busy.  After that it slowed down to a regular type sale.  James came down in the afternoon, and he along with Joey, Lauren, Leon, Bettyrae, Me, Stacy all stayed and worked (Steph helped with the sale until she had to go to work and work a double shift)

I am so stinkin tired...
It was wonderful to see Gram.  I sure have missed her, and I got to spend a lot of time with Bettyrae... i've missed her too.  I didn't get to visit that much with Marianna though.

Now we have about a month, to finish going through the rest of our stuff and be ready for the next sale.  Leon is going to take a load of stuff up to the auction barn for the stuff we know won't be touched at the sale.  (of our stuff)  We made about a hundred bucks.  Mom made over 300.00.  Colton sold his rifle and a few things.  Lauren had a couple things she sold too.  There were a few from the hall and a few from the complex who also had stuff in the sale.  I am so glad it is over!  i think i said that before, but i don't care, i really am glad.
