It's a hard disk drive back in 1956... With 5 MB of storage. In September 1956 IBM launched the 305 RAMAC, the first 'SUPER' computer with a hard disk drive (HDD). The HDD weighed over a ton and stored a 'whopping' 5 MB of data.

We had a really nice weekend.  Colton's Karaoke party was a lot of fun.  Having Livingstons for the night was also a lot of laughs.  We do seem to laugh a lot when we are together.  It was also nice to have someone to talk to about some of the unhappy stuff that has been stressing us.  It really is so nice to have someone who is willing to listen. 

I am so tired today though. I figured I might be, but it is rather crazy.  I didn't really have much to do at all.  The family did pretty much everything.  I love that about my family.  I'm sure I have posted it before, but I can never say it enough.  They are fabulous.  They know how to throw a bash!  They can work together, and they just seem to be so comfortable with it.  I love having big gatherings, I just wish I had the energy to do more.

Again, people said they wished our cong did more stuff like that.  It doesn't have to be a huge gang either.  We had about half the cong.  We didn't want it to be too big.  Having the living room bigger made such a huge difference.  Everyone seemed comfortable.  Maybe now that our living room is opened up we can have a few more gatherings.

Boy was I tired though.  it took all my energy.  I really wanted to crawl into bed.  Plus I managed to make it to the meeting for the special talk.  Granted I was so over tired, I didn't really know what was going on around me, but it was wonderful to be there.  I look forward to seeing how the bros revamp the WT web site. That was an exciting announcement.  And reducing the size of the WT & Awake mags.  WOW oh WOW... maybe I can keep up better than with reading my mags.  NO EXCUSES for not getting them read!  What amazing changes the bros keep making.  It is always so interesting!
