nice day

Yesterday was a nice day...well not for the weather, as it rained pretty much all day... and that wind was all anyone was talking about. The wind was at it's peak when we were driving over the Blatnik bridge. From what the news said, it was about 55 mph when we were going over it. It was kind of scary. Ok, it was a lot scary. Then at one point, we had to pick up meds for Lauren, and 4th street was like a tunnel. When EO had to chase down his hat. Then when he tried to get in the car, it took two hands for him to pull the door shut on Bill's SUV. It was really rough being in that wind.
We had a nice lunch with Lauren, ma and Ann. I visited with them just a little longer than EO. Then went over to see Carol. That was a COLD walk from Lauren's to Carol's. Carol was having a sleepy day. So we didn't stay real long. Some days are just like that for her.
By the time we got home, my stomach was bothering me, so we didn't stay and visit. my stupid stomach. Always has to give me trouble. I was pretty tired from the extra activity. So I slept in this morning. EO asked me last night if we could sleep in. Guess he was pretty tired too.
I don't have any major plans today, just too tired and too much hip pain. Both hips hurt today...wheeeee. At least they aren't screaming, but they just hurt plenty. The lump under my ear went down a little more but it is still there and i only have a little big of discomfort with it. So another day or two, it should be gone...i hope.
one funny thing, the other day baker that Steph works with (a few days a week) loves listening to Disney songs. Since Steph loves to sing them...well, sing just about any song, they play them constantly. And when different workers go to the back, they will rock out to the Disney songs too. I just think it is the funniest thing how much these adults love to rock out to the Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, Aladdin, Frozen, Cinderella...you name it, they most likely rock out to it. oh, and not just sing/lip-sink but to act them out. then last night, Steph was showing me videos, on YouTube of people lip-sinking to one of the songs from Frozen. "love is an open door"? i'm not sure if that is the title to it. But the ones she showed me were people...adults... acting the song out while they are driving. Funny thing was, they were REALLY good... which means they practiced a LOT... It was way too funny to see these people doing this. I was cracking up laughing so hard. One couple had a little girl in the back seat and she was singing along too, but not involved in what their parents were doing. It was fun just watching that little girl rocking out. Oh people... are just crazy funny sometimes. Now I don't feel so stupid when i do the same thing. heehee
