Nelson legs

So it is clear to me, that the Nelson's have some leg issues. Bill with his frequent and severe charlie horses, Colton having that bone break so oddly in his leg, Leon with his leg cramps.... however, Friday, when Leon was up in Meadowlands with Steph at Jeff's place, felt a snap in his leg and the thought he broke it. After a short time he knew it wasn't broke but something was wrong. So Steph drove him to the hospital where he found out he tore a tendon in his leg. They sent him home with a load of pain killers and crutches. He is healing now. The pain has eased and he can move a bit better but it is going to take more time. So he didn't make it to the Special Assembly Day. So, it was going to be just me & the girls, when we were going out the door, Lauren fell down the steps. HUGE bruise instantly appeared with a gash. Shock then caused her to start throwing up. I told her she should stay home... as it was she is still dealing with her cold. She kept ice on her leg and has been taking advil for the pain. The Nelson legs...
We had been talking, now that Steph is 18, one day she might choose to move and if she would be taking Latae with her. She would and I realize that I really need to have a cat around for me. So Steph picked out sweet little Milly from a batch of kittens that Jeff had up there. She is just the cutest and cuddlest fuzz ball ever! Not sure how old she is, maybe about 6 weeks? But she is on food and litter trained. With the litter box in the tub though, she couldn't get in and out by herself. I arranged boxes for her to climb in and out. It didn't take her long to figure it out. I'm so happy!
After the assembly, Steph & I went out to dinner with Colton, Gordy, Michelle, Karlie, Meryl & Jason. Which was so nice. We really enjoyed the change of pace. We brought some sandwiches home for Lauren & Leon. Steph got a message that Meg from the Mercantile was wanting to reach her. Kelly said Katlyn was giving her the unfiltered description of what a great worker and girl Steph is Kelly was passing that along to Meg. Plus Steph going in to get coffee all the time and making friends with them there was a big help too. She went in Sunday (since there was no meeting) and had an interview. Then Meg told her she would call her the next day, which she did. So Steph starts working at the Mercantile tomorrow (Wednesday). She will be able to work in the coffee shop. Steph is so excited, that she has even been watching video tips on youtube on how to make various coffees with the machines they have, how to steam and get good foam. She is so smart to look that kind of thing up.
We just know we have Jehovah to thank for helping her get into this job. Her working for Grandma just isn't working out. Steph gets so depressed when she is there and she just can't handle it. So she is going to reduce her hours with Grandma. I can't stand seeing steph come home so stressed out. At least now, she will get some relief with the reduced hours.
The Assembly was WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!! So encouraging. I already don't remember that much, as I am still really tired but, just so wonderful.
