So EO is finally moving better.  He did a lot of walking yesterday, as we are having trouble with our electric fence, so he walked all around trying to figure out the problem.  We even worried he walked too much, but even though he is really sore right now (mornings are always bad, as he has no pain meds in him), he can dress himself today.  Wahoo!

gotta go, i'm going to walk with him and see if we can figure out why the electric fence is grounding out.  I will post more later.

7pm. BACK HOME NOW.

So we headed out this morning, and right after we got in the fence, both the horses came running up and about ran us over... well not really.  They came for water.  As I figured, they spent the night over at B&C's.  ....whoa... I'm getting ahead of myself. ;)

ok, so yesterday, EO couldn't figure out what was going on with the electric fence.  So he walked and found 5 places where the electric fence was grounding out.  But the fence still wasn't working.  He couldn't figure it out.  In the meantime.  Steph & I had to walk the horses around the whole fence (17 acres worth).  well there was NOWAY i could walk that.  So i decided i would try and ride, and I did..  my feet couldn't reach the stirrups, so I told Steph I didn't want to do anything other than walk, so that is what we did.  I rode carrot while she rode treasure.  After we rode them around the whole fence line, we went back to the house, and I took the car over to B&C's and then she rode awhile longer and left the girls by the walk in gate, where there was SO MUCH long green grass.  The horses were in HEAVEN!  I told her I wouldn't be surprised if they stayed there all night and came in the morning for water.  And that is just what they did.

B&C watched them graze and then lay down until dark.  They loved it.  They said they didn't think they would ever see another horse in the field again.  Well now they get to watch them until November, as that is when we will keep them up by the house through the winter.

These 2 girls are so sweet and have such a mellow dispositions.  They are really Charming and a Treasure.  ahhh, ya like how I worked that in?  hahaha.

The girls really are sweet.  I told Steph we were at Gram & Gramps, so she came after work.  Both girls love Steph.   Treasure was out in the field while Charming was by the gate.  Steph gave Charming some hugs for several minutes then walked out to Treasure.  I then walked in and hugged Charming for awhile, and i walked real slow out towards Steph, and Charming just followed me.  I stopped a few times and gave Charming more hugs and she followed me out.  She was so sweet, she just couldn't get enough love, so I just hugged and rubbed her face and talked to her for a long while.  Then I went back in the house and she was happy.  When we left B&C's tonight, the horses were still there.  I'm guessing they will stay there for a couple weeks as there is SO much grass for them to eat.  They are so happy and so full from all the good grass, they really aren't hungry.  They have life really good!

So I felt ok, but by 4pm, I was really getting tired.  We stayed awhile longer, but that was fine.  I am super tired tonight though.  But all that fresh air, and time with the horses and time with B&C, really made this a fun day!

I don't even remember if I mentioned, today EO did find where the fence was grounding out.  I walked one way looking and EO walked another way, and we met up.  He had found the problem.  We were SO glad to get that fixed.

I think the best part was seeing how excited B&C were,  being able to see horses on the farm again.
