This was last year.  One problem we had was there is always so much ice right at the entrance in the winter, that we slip and fall too often.  So EO is buying the supplies to extend the shed 6 more feet.  So that we don't have to turn a corner to get in, but we can walk straight in. I don't know how to describe it, but I will post pics when we start working on it.  He went to go buy what he needs today, then I don't know if he will start tonight or tomorrow on building it.  He has the wood shed almost full now, so that new entrance will allow for a bit more wood in there.  However we have never used it all.  We haven't really had a bad winter since we have had the wood stove, but at least we are prepared if we do get a long winter.  EO says we have enough for 3 winters, which is nice to know.  I look forward to helping him with the addition.  It won't take long for him to build it, since it is just basically a shell he has to build but it will still be fun to help him. (well I can hand him nails at least)

I started my workout today and cleaned out the flower bed.  I haven't decided what flowers we are going to plant.  The Hen & Chicks are growing like made, they are so thick, that there isn't room for more.  I don't know how far I will let them spread.  Last year I dug up a bunch and gave them to a couple people.  They are growing so well, I don't mind sharing them.  Lauren is thinking of picking up more gladiolas again this year.  I think that would be nice too.

I feel decent today, tired but decent.  EO took me down to the Mercantile to have Steph make me a drink.  Then we stopped at DQ for a chili dog.  We also had a couple other stops to make.  But it was nice to be out for a little while.

I told EO we are going to need to save up some money for me to be able to go out to CA with Steph.  I don't want her to have to pay for everything for me.  When we figure out when she is going to go, I will buy a plane ticket for my return flight.  I don't know how long she will want me to stay with her as she gets herself settled.  If she is going to want me for a week or two?  I don't plan to do any tourist stuff.  I wouldn't mind going to Chinatown in LA, but otherwise nothing much planned.  Just getting her furniture, oh and figuring out a way to haul it, she will also need a bed, so I hope there will be someone in the Kingdom Hall who can help us with that.  Maybe I will have to rent a pickup truck for a day while I am there.  Although, who ever she ends up moving in with, maybe they will have some furniture to share with her.  Now that would be really nice.  I don't know if EO will decide to go.  He and Lauren talked about it, but then I said, they wouldn't have to if they didn't want to.  Then they both said,... that would work for them to not go.  Plus it would be more expensive, we would have to take 2 cars and well, it would just cost so much more.  I haven't posted this sooner, because I was letting Steph tell people herself.  Now it's ok for me to post it.  She has been planning to move since we were there.  She waited a week until after she got home to decide, but also to weigh the pros and cons, and pray ALOT about it.  She is going to go for 6 months, and then decided if she will stay another 6 months.  If she stays a year, she will decide if she will stay longer or not.  The first thing she will examine is if the move is helping her spiritually or harming her spiritually.  We couldn't support her if she didn't have a family who is adopting her.  They will be there for her if she needs encouragement or just someone to help her with big decisions.   She wouldn't go either if it wasn't for them as well.  So she is so excited about going.  I did the same thing when I was 18, moved to the west coast.  I needed to grow up and find my back bone.  She doesn't need a back bone, but she does need to go start her life.
