It is a big day for a number of people.  Dave is having his shoulder surgery right now.  Carol is starting her first round of Chemo today.  So I am guessing a number of the friends are up at the hospital this morning.  Lauren and EO went up there as well.  

which reminds me, I told EO how when my dad was receiving his Chemo treatment, my mom would rub his feet.  He said it was comforting and a good distraction for him.  EO said he was going to mention it to Deenie.  I don't know if Carol likes foot rubs or not.  Or maybe she likes hand massages?  Well, I know just having her family nearby comforts her.  

Steph was going to go with, but she started getting sick last night because she hasn't slept in the past three or four nights.  Poor girl. 

I woke up this morning with a massive headache.  It is one of my "my body is enormously stressed out" headaches.  that headache is always on the right side of my forehead.  Yeap, my body is very unhappy.  My guts are in anguish today!!  So I will be digging into my pain meds at least a couple times today.  

I will be sticking close to the phone today and wait for word on how the families are doing.
