What an adventure we have in store for our next DC.  We knew that Rochester is closed this year for a major face lift but we could only guess where we would be going.  I was surprised it would be Milwaukee we would be going to.  EO & I haven't been to a DC this size since... before we were married.  And our kids have never attended a DC this size, so they are looking forward to the adventure.  The Miller Park stadium holds about 40,000 people.  It has a retractable roof, which is super cool.  I can't help but wonder if it will be opened or closed... but either way, I will be sure to bring sunblock just in case. I am SUPER excited, because it is VERY VERY SELDOM that I am able to attend a DC with most of my family.  So to be with my aunts, uncles, cousins and Gram... I am thrilled!!!

Ok, I'm getting annoyed that there are people who are complaining about where we are going for the DC... whining that it is so far away and the drive will be boring and the place is too big... sheeze people!  When the faithful slave instructs us to do something... be appreciative and accept it.  So what if there is a lot of walking.  EO really wants me to use a wheel chair, but that means I won't be able to sit with my family, and I know the elevator lines will be really long, but it is what EO wants, and I am hopeful that at least EO will be able to sit by me.  I can be somewhat nearby the family.  Whatever kinks we have to work out, we will find a way, because it is what we are being instructed to do.

It just hurt me to hear people bad mouthing the arrangement.   I know I can be negative too, i am so so so far from being perfect.  I stay stupid things all the time.  I just needed to get this off my chest so that I didn't take it out on somebody else. I feel better now.

Colton is really sick.  Steph is pretty sick.  the rest of us are stable-ish, more or less.  Just one more day and we can take the blankets off the windows.  We always cover them when it gets really cold like this as just too much heat escapes otherwise.  It will be nice to brighten the house back up.  I will be able to be at the table a little more.  I have been having to have my feet up off the floor as even with heavy socks and slippers the floor is just WAYYYYY to cold!!!! my feet just kill me when I have to get up for anything.  No one else notices it, but since I can't handle anything cold touching my feet (or hands) it makes winter time tricky for me.  But i put my feet up on whatever I can, but it is never comfortable for me to do, and I still feel cool air.. oh, i'm such high maintenance...lol
