This is just so funny!
 
 Last night, we had a huge fire going in the stove and it was super hot in the house, so Colton had a window open in the living room and he and Steph were watching .. something and they heard Milly crying and her bell on her collar.  Well, they rushed in and told me, and i flew out of bed.  Colton looked outside and she was on the steps by the living room.  We all grabbed flashlights and went out looking for her.  She ran into the wood shed, and I saw her on top of the pile, which freaked me out because it was just how I had pictured seeing her in the dream I had a few days ago.  Steph kept talking to her and she climbed down to Steph (who was closer to her on the other side of the wood shed).  WE GOT HER BACK!!!!!  

After a bit of getting her settled down, I went into the bathroom and she just cried and cried.  I came out and she stood on the bed waiting for me to lay down.  So I laid down and she snuggled up and went to sleep.  (she never sleeps on me).  then later, I went into the bathroom again and she cried and cried until I came out.  I laid down again, and it was the same thing, she snuggled up on me and went to sleep.  Poor baby.  As I was petting her... oh she is so so so skinny. I don't know if she ate while she was gone.  I put a bowl of milk on the floor and she attacked it.  I haven't given her milk in a long time but I thought she could use it for now.  I'm just so glad she is home.

Lauren is now a lot sicker.  She was helping to take care of things, and she went to the store and after being gone a long time, she called me, real... weak sounding.  She started running a fever.  Well, she may have started it before she left, but she was not doing well.  I told her to just come home and not go anywhere else.  Colton walked in right when I got off the phone with her. and I told him something is wrong with Lauren.  He ran out the door and grabbed Steph and they took off after Lauren.  They found her at the gas station and Lauren was really out of it and she didn't have a coat on.  Steph made her get in the van and she drove Lauren home.  Lauren went and climbed in the shower to help lower her temp and that helped her some.  She didn't sleep much all night.  I am so glad I have kids who will jump into action when there is a problem.  

So all 3 kids are home from the meeting.  Every one of them are running fevers still.  Colton had a bloody nose all night long.  So I have a huge pot of water on the wood stove to help put some moisture back in the house.  I was glad we caught Milly pretty quick, as I hated all 3 of them were outside helping me look for Milly, because it was so cold and I knew the cold wasn't good for them.  

EO called me last night.  No one got any deer yet.  But he is happy and having fun.  He was really happy to hear Milly is back.  Not so happy to hear the kids are so sick.  Although he knew that before he left.  I'm so glad he gets a break like this each year.  He so needs that time to rest from taking care of both me and mom.  I try to help where I can, so the load of caring for me isn't so rough, but I know it isn't easy for him.  So if I can make it so he doesn't have to worry about me for a couple weeks and he can be off with family and friends doing something he really enjoys... it will just help him in the long haul.
