Migraine!!!!

Latae was laying her head where her mama lays her head. She sure loves Steph!!Last night, around 5pm, a headache began to develop. Steph brought Chinese food home last night for supper (so fabulous) and after I finished eating my head started to pound even harder and I got super super queezy. I almost thought it was from the food, but I remembered the headache started before I ate. Anyways, I took stuff right away for it and grabbed an ice pack for my head, but it wasn't helping enough. It got so bad, that I almost asked EO to take me to the hospital. But I thought I should wait it out a big longer. And then it started to let up a bit. I took more meds later on, but it never went away. Then this morning... whoa... i hate when I wake up with an axe in my forehead, cause it is hard to put a shirt on... ok, stupid joke.
Needless to day, I can't hardly move my head today. I find a position where it isn't pounding so much, and I lock my head in that place hoping it will last awhile. So before I could take any of my normal meds, I had to take something for this migraine.
So a couple years ago, Lauren bought a new shower curtain, a set of 8 towels and a couple of rugs for their bathroom. So I asked her, if she was going to take them with her when she goes, because if I needed to get stuff, I needed to do that real soon. Well, she was surprised I didn't remember her telling me that she would live them here, if and when she moved out. I told her, I knew she put a lot of money into them, so she was more than welcome to take them, and I do consider them to be hers. But she insisted she wasn't going to take them... actually, she did say, if it was ok, if she just to the 2 sets of dark brown towels. LOL, I told her I had no problem with that, as again, they were all hers as far as I was concerned. But she doesn't need much, as my mom has everything they would need anyways. Well, mom doesn't have a ton of towels, as she only needs a couple sets for her, but she does have a few extra towels.
But Lauren doesn't have a ton of stuff of her own, however they do have all of my mom's things that easily gives them all that they will need. And Colton has a lot of stuff from when he was living on his own. Steph has some things, mostly some kitchen things, but she is the one who needs stuff. Although she has some items, she still needs things like vacuum cleaner, sofa, table & chairs. Bigger priced items.
Also when I woke up, EO and Lauren had already left for town. I heard the alarm go off this morning, but I never really woke up until an hour later. They will be gone most of the day.
So Lauren has had this thing, where her heels become inflamed. It normally happens in the winter. Her heel will swell and fever. It causes so much pain even when she isn't standing on it. Not that she can put pressure when it is inflamed. So now it is flared up. At least she has a couple days off of work. it could be that standing for 8 hours a day is what triggered the flare up. It seems to last about a month, just depending on how much she is having to use it. She has had this problem since she was about 10 or 12 years old. Heel pain is hard to diagnose and we never really got a clear answer to it. Just that she needs to take Advil and use ice packs and stay off of it. Well, dauh! Anyone can come up with that treatment. Well, they were able to rule out that it isn't a planter's wart or a bone spur. But other than that, and why it comes back in the winter, I have no idea. Plus, some winters she is active and some she isn't but regardless, it comes back every winter. She is going to see about being able to use a stool at work. They do say if something like that is needed, it can be requested. I was wondering if there is an orthopedic boot that can be worn or something. I do hope that it starts getting better by the time she has to move.
oh i wish my head didn't hurt so much. at least it isn't full blown migraine right now. and the meds i took do seem to be helping some. The past couple days I have been up and doing a bit more than usual, but today i am going to have to lay extra low so I don't re-trigger this migraine.
*************************************UPDATE
I'm kind of freaking out right now. So Lauren went to the doc, one of the things she wanted help with for the inflammation in her heal... well, they did a bunch of lab work, because they are concerned it could be Lupus or Rheumatory arthritis or something else. So now I am rather shaky, because this could be a big problem for her. i just need to pray for a clam heart. I talked to her on the phone over an hour ago, and I am still shaky and freaking out. So I thought I would post about it on here, and then maybe I can let it go until we get results.
I brought her into a couple of docs, who just chalked it up to injury from running. That she will just have to "deal with it". Advil and ice packs. I guess they were to ignorant to actually look into it being a real problem.
See, how many time I have gone to the doc looking for help, and they blow me off. And how many times I took lauren into the doc for her kidney problems when she was age 10-12... and because they didn't know what was wrong, they blew us off. She nearly died from renal failure, and it was only by Jehovah''s hand that there was a pediatric urology specialist there... in fact there was a very wise pediatric doc there who looked at her and that doc stood by the door of the specialist and wouldn't let him get on a plane to go back home, and she just made him look at her tests and he canceled his flight at that moment and put a stent in the ureter and that saved her kidney. Well, she did end up loosing some of her kidney function but still...
I guess, when it really matters, Jehovah makes sure we have the help we really need, in spite of the stupid docs we have to put up with for the little stuff. Well, I am praying again, if Lauren needs help, that Jehovah looks out for her, because she has a huge responsibility right now that no one else is able to do... and i need a clam heart.
