Memorial

This is Chris & Dawn's cong in New Belgrade, Serbia. They had 239 in attendance.
Last night was pretty rough... well the whole day was. EO said it worried him because I wasn't even cracking a joke. So yeah, pretty sick. Today isn't real great but it is a tad better, not by much though but I'm still going to the Hall tonight. In fact I think I even had a mild panic attack cause of how awful I feel today. Well, I don't think, I know. yesterday I was so sick that at times, I was actually scared.
I looks like Lauren will be able to get a car, however, the one she wants is down in the cities at the moment, so they will bring it up here tomorrow or the next day and she will be able to pick it up then. It kind of stinks she has to wait but at least she will have one she is happy with.
So I was thinking about a point from a few days ago,... from the Bible reading for the Memorial... i forget what day it was, anyway, I tried doing some research on it, but couldn't find anything. it was when they were getting the colt/ass for Jesus to ride upon... it said, it would be one that no one has ever sat upon before... I know an ass doesn't exactly have the same disposition that a horse does, but don't they still have to be "broken" like a horse or they will buck you off? So my thought was, if no one had ever sat upon it, and it didn't just buck him off, but he had total control over it, that is pretty amazing power over the animal. Plus I have seen some that are stubborn and they won't go where you tell them or they just won't go at all. I wondered what the point was to it never being sat on. But then, in the Revelation book, it shows the all the horseman having at least a bridal for the horse they are on, but Jesus doesn't. I am not even sure if there is a scripture that talks about that either, at least I can't remember one right now, maybe sometime I will look that up too. Perhaps the point was to show just how powerful his authority is. It sure does build up one's confidence in his ability to lead us.
