Steph's plan is to move by Oct 1st.  However, it looks like DQ could be closing sooner, so she might be leaving by Sept 15th.  She has put in a few more applications.  Plus tomorrow she has off, and so she is going to spend the day job hunting.  The job at the animal clinic didn't work out, they went with someone who is more qualified.  She expected that she wouldn't get it but she couldn't pass up applying as it is a dream job for her.  

Steph has been having some tough decisions to make and she has been doing well in keeping things in perspective.  She isn't shying away from dealing with the issues either.  It just continues to build my confidence in her being able to handle herself and her new life of being on her own.  

I am feeling a little better today...in some ways.  But the lymph nodes in my neck are super swollen, and when that happens, swallowing is not only a challenge, but breathing even makes my throat ache.  I have something going on with my left eye.  My eye lid started hurting last night, both the top and the bottom.  I don't know if there is something going on with the tear ducts or what.  It feels injured.  I wondered if I might have injured it the night before.  It isn't pink eye, because it isn't my eye that is the problem.  So ....I will keep an eye on it to see what develops.  what a double pun.  Anyways, I also kind of feel like I have been punched on the left side of my face and my left ear is achy.  When my lymph nodes from my neck up, swell,... they sure cause a lot of problems for me.

I think this is Colton's last week of clinical schooling and then he can take his CNA test to be certified. that will be awesome!  I think he should do fine on the test, as right along he has been getting good grades and doing well.  I don't know what comes next for his schooling.  It is all too confusing for me to keep track of.   

My head really hurts, I think I need to go lay down for awhile.
